Sergio managed to get the characters working thansk to the lateste patch. Sad that Goku's 3rd alt doesn't included his DB outfit, and no jacket for GT Trunks despite it being already in the game.
I think the first DLC pack will include Tien and Yamcha as masters based on their silhouettes on the master page post patch. Tri-Beam and Wolf Fang Fist here we come!
Soooo, what's the difference between GT Trunks and Future Trunks? Pan is literally the only character I'm interested in, everyone else is just.... eeeeh.
Characters aside, I'm more excited for the missions we will be getting. Can't wait!

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

That sucks.
Nadolny doesn't work for them anymore, as far as I can tell. Suppose they could've used someone else, but for all intents and purposes, Colleen is kid Goku now.
We can always count of SergioM3 to let us know that these DLC are done. I just hope the rumored March 22 DLC release isn't real and that it's next tuesday instead.
Dragon Ball Heroes God Mission = Best sets of missions so far

I don't mind Colleen Clikenberd's Kid Goku at all, and to be honest, I think she's superior to Nadonly's Kid Goku. But that's for another thread.
Looking forward to the first DLC pack regardless.

Her voice just doesn't jell well to Goku for me. I don't like hearing Gohan come outta Goku's mouth since they're on two different rankings of the social chain. Goku is alpha, Gohan is beta.

I liked GT Kakarot's line towards Bills. It is really interesting. It makes me wonder if Pan also has a line with him, what would she possibly have to say to him?

Love Pan. I also just hope we get more options in char creation. Seems like we're supposed to have a lot more hair styles and options, going by the numbers, but...they're not there.

Hopefully the patch fixes those "Bills" lines even though they already had his name as Beerus.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
Today I learned that Goku can create and fire a Genki Dama faster than Gohan charging up a Father-Son Kamehameha..... Something doesn't seem right...
Gohan, I know you're just trying to make it look "cool" by using only one hand and saying "Kamehameha" veeery slowly and all but....

Agreed. I was switching out characters to cut back on tedium, but Kid Gohan bothered me cause of that. Father-Son is soooo sloooow it's ridiculous.

So I've been away for most of the day after my initial posts - what's the final verdict, guys? Did the patch improve RNG at least a tad, or does it seem to be more in relation to bringing Mr. Satan with you?
