There is no set promotional schedule that we can refer to and answer you with. I mean, I'm sure the marketing department at Toei has a schedule, but we're not privy to it.
Weekly Shonen Jump is released each Monday.
V-Jump is released on the 21st of every month.
Saikyo Jump, though it seems to be going bi-monthly now, is released on the 4th-ish of every month. Those are the magazines to pay attention to.
At the same time, Toei is free to reveal anything they want at any time. It could be a website update. It could be a new teaser.
We don't know!

There is only one certainty as to when we will get new information - it will be either when nobody from the Kanzenshuu staff is online, and/or it will come right after they have finished recording and putting up a podcast. Such is the way of Toei.

What i know for sure is the new info will be released when we least expect it .
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

News will come when there is something to report. We did not learn the actual story for
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods until
early December 2015.
It was not until a week later that we received an actual trailer.
Lest a staff member reveals what part of production they are in on their social media account, call back in December. Shida Naotoshi mentioned he was
storyboarding, laying out, and
doing the key animation for his segment of the movie in early November 2012, possibly even late October 2012.

Only a few more days til next VJump, but I'm not hopeful of there being anything of note (I'd sure like there to be though; I'd be happy to settle just for learning the name of the character designer). I agree with the above post that it probably won't be until December for anything substantial update-wise.
On hiatus.

We first began learning about further staff in September, but an update in this coming V-JUMP might not be too out of the question. By this time two years ago we knew the production committee members, the film's director, animation supervisor, and writer. So far we only seem to have Toriyama Akira as 'writer' and Yamamuro Tadayoshi as director. Hmm...

Yeah my friend keeps calling him lord bills and it's very aggravating.

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

I'm pretty sure it's just as annoying for them.

I still hope for another demonic villain. Our only demon villains we have Dabra and Janemba. I hardly counts Akkuman as a villain.

I assume he meant something that's...for lack of a better way to describe it, actually a demon in origin, rather than Dragon Ball's somewhat odd description of it almost being more of a 'state', or whatever. Daimao has origins in Kami, who is Namekian, not a demon; and the Garlic Jr. filler arc seems to raise the question of if they're not aliens as well, given the Makyo Star debacle. That's just me guessing though.
Honestly, and I doubt we'll ever go that route again, but I'd kind of like us to get almost a more 'mundane' origin for our next big threat. Something coming from the Earth again, maybe? I mean, we've gone higher and higher and higher for so long now, from aliens to artificially created beings to Gods, I think it'd be a real nice twist to go the opposite direction again.

Also, we had Lucifer & co, Shura & co, Slug & co, Hildegarn, and... well, Majin Boo says hi.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

I haven't seen the DB movies, but Slug wasn't Demon Clan, was he? I thought he was just a big bad Namekian.

I'm hoping the villain's got henchmen, it'll give the supporting cast guys to fight and make for some possible good fodder as well.
