Why not? Pilaf and his gang could easily have tracked down the Dragon Balls again and wish to be older. And again the Dragon would grant their wish, making them older, but older than what they would like. Isn't it obvious GT is being totally ignored with the movie and 'main timeline'? What's the point in even mentioning GT?
GT won't happen in the 'main timeline'.

When he called Goku a "macho man" I already knew he was clueless. If not for reading the sentence where he said he had a smile on his face after leaving the theatre, I'd though he didn't know what he was talking about. It's better if he just stays with his "ally to justice".
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2013 Movie Thread: "Battle of Gods
When the reviewer said that about Goku I knew right away this guy probably would dislike ssjg.
Re: bunny
I noticed that too and it gave me pause as I couldn't tell if the reviewer was making fun of Beers because he disliked him or if he's one of the fans who still thinks Beers is a rabbit. I stopped taking the review seriously after that.

I have to admit that this review kinda sums up all my fears I had for this movie. I won't say I agree with it because I haven't seen the movie myself, but a lot of the things the reviewer mentioned are very similar to my initial misgivings when it came to Battle of the Gods. Unimpressive animation for most of the movie, weak story, bad pacing etc. Maybe, just maybe, the attempt at making it as light hearted as possible hurt it a little?
Well, he doesn't seem as big of a fan as Oda or even Kishimoto, but he does speak fondly of it. Unlike the other two, his main influence was Saint Seiya, I think. Also, a few years ago, there was a segment on his Wikipedia page about how he received a letter from Toriyama urging him on not to give up after Zombie Powder got cancelled and the first pilot chapter of Bleach rejected. It's no longer there and I have never seen anyone ever mention it again , so it might have been fake, but it still brought a smile to my face back then.knew Kubo drew that awesome looking anniversary artwork, but I didn't know he was a Dragon Ball fan. That's nice to hear.

I also explains why Goku could fight evenly with someone stronger than Majin Boo (Rild), could easily defeat two Super Saiyans (Gohan & Goten), and even more easily defeat Cell & Freeza, all of these in base.rereboy wrote:Why not? That letter sounds fake but I hope it's real, it sounds really heartening.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

He probably thinks that SSJG looks too feminine.
I think he just missed the point of Beers' character. He's not supposed to be evil!!!1! but a god of destruction, it's his job to keep balance in the universe. He doesn't take sadistic pleasure in killing people like Freeza and Cell, and he's not out for world domination. So of course he wouldn't be like the typical antagonist. I'm actually glad they went with someone like Beers because it's different and new. And he probably does think that Beers is a rabbit.

Wait, does Korea get anime movies early? Because I found a Korean dubbed Road to Ninja: Naruto The Movie and a Korean subbed One Piece Film Z, and none of them have been released in DVD in Japan.

There is nothing wrong with it because some members here thought the same thing when his design was first revealed. But when you're writing a review and criticizing something, you have to make sure you have your facts in order. The fact that Beers clearly looks like an Egyptian deity/Sphinx cat/Anubis-like creature should have also tipped him off that he is not a rabbit.alakazam^ wrote:I have a friend that thought the same, so...VyeRo wrote:And he probably does think that Beers is a rabbit.

That, and the feline mannerisms. Anyone know if this is fake? I assume so since it hasn't been posted on the front page yet.

Correct in that it is fake.
You can obviously imply that if the movie does well SOMETHING of SOME TYPE will be made to capitalize on it, but as of right now, there's absolutely no-one in any official capacity saying for sure, "Hey, if this does well, we promise we'll do X or Y!"

I don't mean to be rude but I think you should read his comment again. There is nothing that says we will get another movie. There is nothing that says there will be a new series. I'm just gonna throw this out there, since a little logic can a long way in preventing the believability of false rumors. The words "Dragon Ball" and "GT" appear nowhere in Toriyama's answer, or even the question being posed. And really, you don't even have to know Japanese to pull those out of what's actually being said.Bando wrote:http://postimg.org/image/l506ha4kn/full/

I will say this again, and reiterate everything we at Kanzenshuu have been saying. There is no official confirmation of any sequel to the movie, or even a new series. All of the parties involved have left it open to the possibility of a sequel, but none have actually said it's happening, or that there are any plans to even do anything moving forward. There's been no announcement, no press conference, no official anything; especially not from Toriyama himself.Super Saiyan God wrote:I know there will be sequel movie, but is there will be new series too?
