Sorry for double posting but I feel the need to share a few thoughts.
It really bugs me that some characters have their transformations as separate characters. This has been happening in Galaxy Mission. I'm okay with Janemba Baby being a separate character but I don't understand why Rilld and Vegeta Baby have all their forms as separate.
I also don't get why some characters have merge cards and some don't. I really like that they did that for Uub, merges with Buu for Super Uub, but for some reason 13 doesn't, Janemba and Baby also don't have it.
There are just so many things that don't match up. We have Baby infected characters as a "transformation", but the Ghost Warriors didn't have that, even thought the cards themselves acknowledge that, Tullece doesn't have one at all.
Not only that but as it has been noticed many times before, it grinds me up the fact that they're super anal about completing some henchmen teams and then squander it on others. Zeeun and Yamu are playable characters even though they did jack shit, but not Kyui or Yakon though, oh no. They randomly add Tobi in, might as well have added Kyabira as well while you're at it. They add Dr. M who showed absolutely no fighting prowess or potential but ignore Dr. Raichi who was an actual boss in his game. Also Babidi was playable before.
And then there's the forms, oh dear. No base Broli or Bojack, no transformed Zarbon or Gokua, no base Janemba or Hildegan.
Sigh, as a final note on completion and missing characters, Kibito would be nice, he was going to fight and he is the other half of a fusion character. Hoi would add a little bit more to the Dragon Fist Explosion set of cards. Bra is the last remaining hybrid Saiyan who hasn't been covered, plus she would be yet another feminine character in an otherwise sausage fest.
In other things, I see the potential for between 3 to 4 new sets relating to GT. I don't see them extending Super 17 more than one set, or rather, don't see the point in it, and I can totally see the Evil Dragons being done in 2 sets, of course this is subjective since the Baby arc has been going on for 3 sets now.
Besides that, it goes without saying that sets for Return my Gohan, World's Strongest and Goku and Friends Return could still see the light of day, although the next one is probably going to be Battle of Gods.
A set covering Final Solitary Battle might still be a possibility since Defiance in the Face of Despair is being covered as well in the next set apparently.
At last, I'm still hoping for a set for Neko Majin and maybe one for Goku Junior and Vegeta Junior.
So there's potential there for at least around 7 more sets, that should cover the whole of 2013 easily.
As a final note, if they wanted to stretch things and scratch the barrel, they could make a set covering the battle between Buu and the Kaioshins, you'd have five new characters right there, each with at least two cards as usual, ten new cards, bam.
Thoughts? Agree? Disagree? I'd like to see what people think about this.
Edit: Decided to also cover what I think about future "what-ifs" or whatever you want to call them.
I don't think we've seen the end of the Super Saiyan 3. As many have pointed out, I could see them do Son Gohan: Adolescence, Son Gohan: GT, Vegeta: GT, Son Goten: GT and Vegetto as Super Saiyan 3.
I would still like to see Pan and Tullece as Super Saiyan.
After Ozaru King Vegeta I could definitely see the return from Sparking Meteor: Bardock, Raditz, Nappa, Tullece and Paragus as the new one. I could see a Super Ozaru Broli.
As for Super Saiyan 4, Son Gohan: GT, Broli and Vegetto.
Moving away from Saiyans, like I said, a Giant Piccolo would be cool to see but also a "Majin" Piccolo, finally dealing with that, it has been addressed in some games before.
For everything else, I believe Janenba Baby might have opened the door for future Baby versions of other characters, as we've seen with Buu in Budokai 2. Baby Freeza, Baby Cell, Super 17 Baby, Baby Piccolo maybe? Would love to see a Baby Dabra.
Speaking of that game, still waiting for the return of said Buu absorptions and the glorious come back of Yamhan. Come on game, the models and main attacks are done already. "Majin" Freeza and "Majin" Cell would also be welcome at this point.
Again with the completion, the three main physical alterations: "Majin", Buu and Baby; if we have Piccolo, Vegeta, Freeza and Cell we cover all the main villains of Goku's adult life, apart from Buu for obvious reasons.
