OR.......... Future Trunks just fought better and the Genki-dama Sword merely made up for the difference in power. Not every fight depends on power, as the anime has been making a point of since RoF.ZombieVito wrote:Holy shit.Bullza wrote:I suppose this is worth posting here right?
Not sure how reliable that is or not but it'd be one more thing to confirm if it was. Ideally Vegito really should be stronger than Beerus or it just makes the Battle of God's saga look more bizarre.
Unless Merged Zamasu got considerably weaker after fighting Vegetto, that would mean Trunks surpassed Beerus with the Genkidama sword.
Being a sword, the technique, despite possessing less Genki, would likely be more effective than a standard Genki-dama due to its shape's stabbing/cutting properties as we saw with Goku Black's extremely efficient Ki blades, not to mention that Future Trunks was already channeling his Ki into a sword shape beforehand.
Also, Merged Zamasu's fusion was failing with each passing moment, especially after a protracted bout with an equal in SSB Vegetto, and he was arguably an even more evil entity than Pure Buu, since he not only killed innocent people, but took pleasure in doing so and felt he was actually just in doing so, the worst kind of villain that Dragon Ball has seen yet. Think Freeza's sadism multiplied by Kid Buu's mania with a hint of Toppo's sense of justice.
