I agree. He really seems like a likable character. He didn't stand a chance getting ganged up on by Mai and Piccolo. It's all Chatwin's fault! Running off to party like that! Family comes first! The exchange between Goku and Bulma was cool though.Chuquita wrote:I am really gonna miss that guy.

Wow. Okay, if this script is genuine, then...wow. I'm more disappointed than I was to begin with.
Anyone who said the trailer wasn't indicative of Goku's nature is pretty much proven wrong. Goku is Clark Kent from Smallville and Peter Parker from the Spider-man movies put in a blender. On top of that...

The whole thing reeks of "generic action flick." And seriously, Bulma training her laser-sighted pistol on Goku's head? What next, is she gonna curve bullets? >_>;;
Highly, highly unimpressed. Before I at least thought the film might surprise me. Now...I'm pretty certain it won't even get me to go see it.

...he apparently has Sauron from Lord of the Rings chasing himGoku has a vision. A quick series of shots. An asteroid totally engulfed in flame enters the Earth's atmosphere. It burrows into the ground. In the cracked burning rock, a MONSTROUS RED EYE opens.

And this time Lord Piccolo destroyed a house while he was in it. I'm sure there was more to it than just the house falling on him.NeptuneKai wrote:By a giant super powered monkey alien.Taku128 wrote:Well he did die in the manga from being crushed.Tsukento wrote:-Gohan, despite being a student of Roshi's...can't take having a house collapse on him.![]()
And even if he were a super martial artist, it sounds like he couldn't move at the time. In the anime someone of his strength probably wouldn't have died from that, but I get the impression everyone is being toned down for the movie. I doubt we'll see bullets fly off Goku's forehead either.

She has to do something to him because there is a photo of Chatwin's stunt double and Bulma in the house together.Bussani wrote:I doubt we'll see bullets fly off Goku's forehead either.

Yeah, I just kind of doubt she'll shoot him in the head like in the manga.Chrono Trigger wrote:She has to do something to him because there is a photo of Chatwin's stunt double and Bulma in the house together.Bussani wrote:I doubt we'll see bullets fly off Goku's forehead either.
...I could be wrong, but I can't imagine it happening.

Well I hope that if she doesn't shoot him in the head, she'll at least "shoot" him.Bussani wrote:...I could be wrong, but I can't imagine it happening.

I just this second was going to edit my post to propose that possibility, but decided it didn't fit with the rest of what I was saying and left it.JAPPO wrote:- Gohan didn't die from the house collapsing. He died from Lord Piccolo's ki. The house collapsing didn't do anything.
I wondered if Lord Piccolo just killed Gohan with his ki and the house collapsing was a dramatic result of that, rather than the cause of the death.
Edit:
I figure she might shoot at him, but not hit him. And/Or maybe he'll instinctively use ki to stop the bullet eventually. He'll do something to make her decide he's useful enough to take along.Chrono Trigger wrote:Well I hope that if she doesn't shoot him in the head, she'll at least "shoot" him.

Do they visit a lot of different locations in the movie? Does Goku still have his Saiyan appetite? How is the tournament integrated into the plot?JAPPO wrote: I'll answer questions because I don't think I'll be able to post part 3 for a while.

I got it from someone, that's all I'm saying. He has provided me with other stuff as well.MajinVejitaXV wrote:Where did this come from?
