The 'fight' wasn't shown. It was a still shot at the end of the anime, I think. The banner above them said 'tournament canceled' or something, so it was after Goku and Uub left at least. I haven't seen it for a while, so it's hard to remember the details.

You would be correct because to me it is a likely possibility and even if Vegetto wins, I would still be happy because he is my third favorite character. As long as Broli puts up a good drawn out fight I would be in heaven. We all have our favorites just as most of you shit your pants if someone from the Son family does something amazing in turn I get excited (I do not shit my pants) if Vegeta/Bra or Broli would do something astonishing.

The 28th TB being cancelled after Goku and Oob left was an anime-only thing. In the manga nothing is said or shown about what the tournament after they left.

But it doesn't make sense if Broly put up a good fight, because this is Movie 8 Broly who just got thawed out vs. Vegetto. Someone who's weaker than Cell vs. Someone stronger than anyone in the Buu saga and putting up a good fight? WHERE'S THE LOGIC IN THAT?!

Besides, this Broli went on to destroy all of life in his universe...which probably took a while, so he might've gotten stronger. I don't know.

Why do we wait until we have the full details before getting into arguments over something?

Y'know, I've been thinking about it... And I'd be more than happy to accept that Broly can rough Vegetto up a bit, IF, and only if, we get to see Vegetto go Super Saiyan 3.

Why do you read something that you don't like? Until now, DB:M has been a Son-fest more or less, not counting Vegeta beating Vegeta up.

Generally, I think that you've got to have a really low respect to your free-time if you put your time reading something that isn't even in your taste.

For your information, I am writing my own Dragonball story and I like how the team explored the primitive Saiyans and how they developed their own unique characters etc., yet with my stuff I stick to the rules established by the main continuity and official sources such as the Daizenshuu and GT Perfect Files among others thanks to Herms. If everyone on this forum can have a bitch fest about other issues, I should be able to bitch about some things as well.

While they are official info books, it's a single detail that most people don't ever pay attention to and, further, it's still debatable on whether or not Toriyama really acknowledges the "quarter-Saiyan" argument as fact.

Pan deserves this, plain and simple.

I was meaning generally, sorry that I didn't make that clear. I meant everyone.
I would like to add that I really would like to read that story, as I am interested in different views about the primitive Saiya-jins.

They are the most interesting race in Dragonball, I think.

By the way, to the "Son fest" remark, there's been 14 matches, so far 4 of them included a member of Goku's family, 2 with Goku and 2 with Pan. That hardly qualifies as a "Son fest", I would say that nearly every character is getting quite a bit of spotlight.

Boy you guys really like to bash whenever your favourite character is not featured.

Because hard working Shônen heroes always get what they work hard for. Not to mention she's a nice girl.

She does not deserve it because First the official material says that she cannot achieve that form, if Saligir and the gang had recognized GT then they could have gotten away with it but as we know they do not. Second, she is a member of the Son family who get all the cool stuff and she is annoying. Concerning those fights the Saiyan “Kakarrot” does not count as a member of the Son family.

The truth of the matter is that we do not know since the character was not explored enough, those that tend to dislike him says that it was excess Ki that was dispelled while those that do like Broli feel like there is a sort of Hulk thing going on.

Pan is not Naruto and she is far from a nice she is annoying. Kuririn’s and #18’s daughter is a nice girl. Now that would have been an interesting twist if they had made Maron (sp?) a fighter.
