I thought we already established that. That's why it's terrible; Because a player's skill is thrown out the window for a silly game of chance that's completely inefficient. Instead of encouraging players to improve their skills, it instead encourages them to waste their ki and open themselves up to an ass-whupping (since, y'know,
no decent player ever falls for it), for what
may or may not be...half a bar's worth of damage. It's an extremely underwhelming aspect of the gameplay, no matter how it's sugarcoated.
I'm saying luck is part of a person's skill.
But it's not terrible. If I've never played before, I don't want to go in and get myself pounded over and over. I want some kind of chance to win. And if no decent player ever falls for it...then wouldn't it take skill to use it in the first place? And if you're facing a decent player as a newbie, then you won't be able to land it without said skill...so wouldn't you be encouraged to get the skill to be able to use it properly? Then, on the other side...if I'm the decent player facing the DR user...I should be more than happy that they're using up all their ki and rendering themselves vulnerable.

Yeah, I know. Again,
that's the point. Flash has nothing to do with gameplay, which I thought was what we were discussing.[/quote]
Yes, I'm saying that's what DBZ games are mostly about. Flashy fights, not gameplay. If you're so big into polished gameplay...then don't come looking at a DBZ fighting game...because you're almost always going to be disappointed.
