Well thats within the 2-6 week shipping time so you should expect to get it within the next 3-4 weeks at latest.ACCloud wrote:While full episodes are definately out of the question, I would personally very much like to see some DBOX/Season Set/UU/etc. comparisons in your next vid Daimo-Rukiri. Pictures are one thing, but seeing the show in motion seems to be a completely different beast (particularly in fight scenes).
And...also I just wanna see some more DBOX footage while I wait for Australia Post to get their act together and deliver my DBOX...16 days and counting since Rightstuf shipped it...

Uh. No.Patient-mental wrote:Oh and good work not ordering from Amazon, it was going to cost over $100 to get it shipped to Australia. I chose Right Stuf aswell, considering the dramatic price difference.
I'm not sure what shipping you chose, but Economy international cost me under $10 AUD and arrives typically in under two weeks.
So including shipping, I got the Dbox for less than a season set retails for over here ($60).

I don't have that choice so technically, Right Stuf is still cheaper.Captain Awesome wrote:Uh. No.Patient-mental wrote:Oh and good work not ordering from Amazon, it was going to cost over $100 to get it shipped to Australia. I chose Right Stuf aswell, considering the dramatic price difference.

And it's standard international (not economy, my mistake) that will run you just under $10 AUD and will turn up in (roughly) two weeks time.Patient-mental wrote:I've only got standard, expedited or priority as choices, so I decided to not bother with Amazon
I have no idea where you got the $100 shipping fee from, I think you just missed a decimal point.

Yeah, looking at how good a deal we can get, I'm disappointed that I've only just started on Amazon. And knowing it's only about two weeks? That's a huge bonus! No, you can choose your own shipping, Amazon tends to default to priority or expedited, I always choose standard because I'm happy to wait an extra fortnight if it means I'm getting a good deal.
And under $60 AUD for the first 42 episodes of Z in Dragonbox quality is a fucking steal.

The Japanese have rarely cared about matching lip flaps so meticulously. It's more about the general matching of feeling, emotion, and tone (carried through in the performance) than anything else. There are a few cases where they've animated to the acting (Akira), but these over-the-top examples are far and few between.G1Ravage wrote:I didn't notice any syncing issues in the Japanese dub. But their lip-flap matching was always suspect. That's nothing new. Perhaps *some* people are looking as hard as they can for something to complain about, and happened on that.
... which is a huge difference from the American way of dubbing anime, of course, where there are countless re-writes, re-takes, and digital manipulation of the performances to try and match the lip flaps.
