No, it's a Fukkatsu no F tie-in event that'll run at J World from March 21st to May 10th. There'll be a thing where you can look for the dragon balls (to save Earth from colliding with a swarm of meteorites), guys dressed as Mister Satan and Boo perform a short skit, there's FnF-themed food (a Freeza-style purple-and-white blueberry cake, etc), a rock-paper-scissors tournament with Freeza as special guess...you can even get your photo taken with Freeza. Doesn't look like there's anything about actually showing the movie at the park though.

Oh, and as part of the movie-themed foods, it mentions that a strawberry sundae will feature in the film, apparently as Beerus' latest snack.
Keeping with the "character first, then voice artist" theme, it's Takeshi Kusao. He mentions the prospect of even more movies.

I'm working on it and the curry update from yesterday now. Let's see if I can get these knocked out in half an hour.

More movies by Akira Toriyama I welcome that.

It's not surprising but it's good to hear something official about it.

It'll be interesting to see where he'll take the story.

I have no doubt that Goku will get a huge redemption in one of them but will we see Fusion again ? Will Vegeta get another movie ?

I hope that fusion isn't used to defeat anymore major characters, it's not nearly as satisfying as one single character delivering that final blow IMO.

Toriyama being in full control is the best thing to happen since the manga ended.

Well we need to see the movie to see if this is true. Concept wise I really would like for more people to help with the story and lore. I am predicting though people will turn on this movie hard if certain things don't happen, even if the movie is good or spectacular.

Well, an hour. But it was two posts, so I guess that will have to do.

In reverse order, here's Takeshi Kusao. This guy may take the cake for hype so far:
Hey, Bulma here!
Just 35 days to go until the movie premieres!
Today we’ve got a comment from the man who plays my son Trunks, Takeshi Kusao!

When I first heard there was going to be new Dragon Ball, I was so surprised I could hardly believe it. And when I heard that the script this time around was written by Toriyama-sensei, I thought that perhaps we’d get a film that captures more of the pure essence of Dragon Ball.

Would he return to first principles and make something with a sweet and at-home perspective, or something fully-loaded with Dragon Ball-style action? With Akira Toriyama, no matter where he drew the line it would definitely turn out incredible. Just hearing about his involvement gave me goosebumps and made me twice as interested as before.

Even people just seeing Dragon Ball for the first time, or parents watching it with their children, should look forward to this film.

I think this film will raise the curtain on the next era of the Dragon Ball legend.

As eyewitnesses to history, everyone should enjoy to their heart’s content this first page of the Dragon Ball legend that starts here, so that it will continue on after Revival of “F” with another film next year, and another the year after that, on and on.

I think I’ll even go enjoy it along with everyone else.
Basically, everyone go see this movie so we can make lots more movies (and money).

Next up, the world of curry:
Hello, it’s the staff.
Just 36 days left until the premiere!

Hey everyone, do you like curry?

As announced yesterday, we’re running a tie-in promotional campaign with Curry House CoCo Ichibanya!

From Wednesday April 1st to Monday May 31st 2015, you can send in any receipt of more than 1,000 yen (tax included) to be entered into a CoCo Ichibanya original merchandise lottery. You can win merchandise featuring original designs especially drawn for this campaign, such as “Son Goku Teleporting (Panorama)” or “Son Goku Chowing Down on Curry”!

There’s also a storefront lotto campaign where you can win one of 6 original pin badges, a complete boxset of these pin badges, or a free drink.
!※ Offer expires when stores run out of supplies.

Check out the campaign site for details.

Everyone, pig out on this curry so that you’ll have enough energy to count down the remaining 36 days until the movie premiere!
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.

Takeshi Kusao doesn't confirm new movies. Besides there's no way they can pump one out every year. I'd support if the movie came out where I am...but not if it sucks somehow. As much as things disappoint me, I still think I'll enjoy myself.

Minus yes but BoG was great, not sure why anyone except Z fans would hate it.

Oh, beloved J-World. Ever since I got the chance to go there last year, I'm much more interested in hearing news about it, since now I know what it's actually like :D I wonder why they talk about the searching for Dragon Ball attraction, though, since that's a permanent feature (unless they dismantled and rebuilt it in the last 6 months!) Seems like the Satan and Boo skit was a thing before, too, since I saw things advertising it, though didn't get the chance to see it since I was there late at night. So the new stuff seems to be the Freeza focused things and the foods. I'm trying to figure out what the hell is scattered over the top of that "pasta salad"...potato chips? But the sundae and blueberry cake look good

Wow, I was about to comment on a bit of the curry promo translation that wasn't quite accurate, but Herms ninja edited as I was about to post!

That Trunks bit sounds like confirmation that they want to explore all the other universes.

I'm sure the VA for Trunks was just saying your typical "Go support it so we can get more movies!" hype statement. It's not something people should thinking too hard about.

Toriyama wrote a great manga, but he's kinda starting to shit on it with this new stuff all these years later.
I wholeheartedly disagree. I enjoyed BoG immensely and I'm super excited for FnF. I'm really happy with what Toriyama's been doing with these past movies. We needed someone to come in and "Not take things too seriously". I won't disagree that someone helping Toriyama remember the details wouldn't hurt, but I don't think it's nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

George Lucas pretty much is the ideal example of too much free reigns and control given away being a bad thing. Not even creators are infallible. Everyone can use help. For all we know he has help, but disregards it for his vision.

That's what the series needs and that's what got the series to where it is right now.

If anyone other then Toriyama was in charge we'd be getting the same generic movies we got the first 13 times around.

What we're getting now are movies with actual stories, character development, new characters with different personalities.

Do you want to go back to the days of stories being (Good guy(Goku) stopping some generic bad guy with 0 personality like Broly who wants to destroy cause it's fun ?) over and over and over and over again ?

If you like that then that's fine but for me I want to see the series' story expand in unexpected ways and introduce new exciting characters the way the manga did and that's what's going on in the new stories we're getting.

Do you think Vegeta would do anything other then show up for a few seconds then get beaten up if Toie was in charge ? let alone get his own movie ?

Regardless of what you think about Vegeta, him getting his own movie shows that Toriyama is willing to think outside the box which shows that the series future is in good hands.

I think it's funny, that I never imagined, that Dragon Ball fanbase will take the same attitude as SW fans towards Toriyama/Lucas.

Since the first Budokai, everyone was hyped for the new stuff. Being it only animated 2 minutes long VG opening, or some tidbit.
Then we've got 2008 Special, everyone was hyped for new continuation, tough it raised brows with Vegeta's little brother with some people...
After Battle of Gods, the fandom got divided and author gets bashed for what he does with his own series.

For me? I enjoyed SW prequels same as the main story, it expanded upon the material and I had a reason to go to the cinema for my beloved franchise again.
Tough I have some share of criticism for some things like Jar Jar, I don't have anything against George Lucas. His fantasy and creative mind gave me wonderful childhood
and I can say the same about Toriyama. I did enjoy the Battle of Gods a lot, it returned to the roots with humour and the overall style, tough I had tough time to accept the magenta toned SSJ God with my eyes.

I do understand why people who grew on the hardcore DBZ wtf fighting series have hard time with what Dragon Ball really is. It's series of my childhood that I grew up on, with fun, adventure, weird humour and some fighting.
I do enjoy all the new stuff coming out, except for the Episode of Bardock and if they will make more films, man, I wanna be there.

sintzu, you said it well!
