Well, we know that there will be both the original Japanese voices and music, and the Funi dub voices, and I don't think we've been given any reason yet to think that the dub music will be left out, so I don't understand this defeatist attitude.

This is going out to a small enough crowd as-is. To make two different versions would be too big of a risk, I would think.

I'd still rather have Dragon Box GT, GT's Season box sets may be 4:3, but the picture is blurry, and there's no alternate angles.

The reason DBZ is coming out first may have to do with DBZ always getting to be #1, or because that's the way they came out in Japan...

Dragon Ball has to be next, I hope they don't got the regular Funi route and do GT directly after Z, even though I want it all anyway.

Eh... that doesn't really fly with FUNimation, though. I've got the original Japanese extras on all my other FUNi crap(even stuff you wouldn't even care about, like the daily Japanese life of the director of Anime X). I don't really care if they are there or not, but there's no reason they SHOULDN'T be there.

EDIT: I hope they have the other actors doing in-character performances for the other six trailers. Less shitty Vegeta.

I'm sure we will get the other DBoxes. Why would Funi miss an opportunity to sell more stuff. As long as they make even a marginal profit, we'll get the others.

I hope they drop the attitude and the in-character aspect altogether and just find a way to communicate the benefits WITHOUT sounding like they're promoting for the WWE or UFC.

Is it really so much to ask that these ads NOT scream at me to buy something without telling me what in the world is so great about this release? That sounds different than the Season One ad?

Yeah that promo really made me want to go out and buy that DVD. There was absolutely nothing that would get me excited.

I hope FUNi releases DB and GT in this format, as well. I would hate to sell off the remastered GT sets and then buy them back a long time from now...

Oh, and I have a question: does anyone think I should keep my Bardock/Trunks movies steelbook? Or will they most likely Dragon Box that as well?

The TV specials haven't been confirmed yet to be in the Dboxes so I recommend you keep them.

Nah; the seasons sets fulfilled their purpose for me. I got to see Z, for the first time, in the original Japanese. Plus, this worked perfectly for me; the announcement of the Dragonbox came around just as I need a new computer, so I can sell my season sets to help with that, and I won't feel stupid for having to rebuy them, because I am would have bought the Dragon Box either way.

I found a LQ version of a trailer for the movies, but that all that I can find.
