That'd be cool. If you think one of my color schemes is pretty good, you can include mine. If you want to.Scarz wrote:@DragonBalllKaiHD - To quite honest I didn't know you were finished with you colors because I saw the last two had skin color but no color on their clothes. I would've included yours (and still can) if you picked a color scheme you liked.

Thanks. First the story board than the animatic (which is like a moving story board with more scenes and important keys added into it).GenerationII wrote:Thank you soooo much Scarz! I will try to use these and the rest of them to make a video storyboard. Then, we can get some animation done. Really, thinking about it, we aren't that far away from finishing the opening.
We need a group brainstorm here stat! Even though you described it to us very clearly GenerationII, it's time to really, and I mean really break this down. Every punch, kick, and block! We can always take examples from the actually fanmanga too, like Shin's training in the afterlife. As soon as the vocals come in the main protagonists (Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Uub, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, Kuririn, and Shin) are shown doing various physical activities like running and flying all tranforming into the a form that we haven't yet seen them in (example: SSJ4 Gohan). In between a few of these shots will be a couple of battle scenes.
Okay, so I was working on some voices, but I have one more question: what sort of interpretation are you looking for with these voices? Similar to the FUNimation dub, or the Japanese version, or perhaps an original take on it altogether?GenerationII wrote:@Splondot: Tell them to email me at: mbennettthesecond@gmail.com In the email they should include what characters they would enjoy voicing, a sample of them voicing some lines from those characters (these should be lines we've heard before in one of the series or a line from the manga), some more samples of them screaming (in character), and tell them to type me a little letter if they want too.
@ThunderPX: Please refer to my post to Splondot* in this reply for mmore info.
What? Now you're trying to out do me with you fancy dancy animation skills, I don't think so pal... Wait sorry, I forgot that's what this is all about.darkhawk5 wrote:Damn it Scarz! You're making me look bad! xD Nah, just kidding, amazing work as usual.
Now for this scene, exactly how much of them are supposed to be in shadow, I'm not sure how much detail there's supposed to be...
How about them sparring which each other, ala the "We Gotta Power" intro? Only now they're all grown up! And one of them has a weird costume...Scarz wrote:Trunks & Goten: Both should be seen together (Gohan in his new SM3 outfit) doing something... uh... slacking off? Yeah those two aren't easy.
I vote no, unless it's as some sort of quick gag.Krillin: Should we even included him in this intro?
Ah, that'd be cool.Kaioshin: I like the idea of him wielding the Z sword with Xcior worried expression reflecting off it for just a second.
The final sequence could possibly be zooming in to Goku and Pikkon fighting, and the final shot before the DBAF logo (assuming its ending that way) is of Foku flashing into Super Saiyan 5?Herms wrote: Maybe something else to show would be that full view of the DB cosmos we see at one point, where it shows whatever crazy world Goku's at in relation to the Kaioshin Realm and the big macrocosm ball. And then it could zoom in on the world to show Goku, and maybe that dragon palace he's at now.
I draw stuff in a very cartoon or comic book style almost all week, so when I draw DB characters in a style prior DBZ it's purely accidental. I'll try my best to keep to the current style (Kai opening) and GT in my drawings.macho_man wrote:Also, talking about the drawing style, I would like it a bit more if should be used a mix of the GT + the KAI (opening) drawing style (post DBZ, less rounded, more squared lines). I hope it isn't too late to change your mind, dear Scarz, cos' I'm really appreciating your work, but I would like it a bit more if drawn so (and not just me, I think)... just a suggestion of a proud Dragon Ball fan and collector, nothing more.
Yeah, that's the one. There's also that original fan picture of SSJ5 Goku that Toyble's designs for SSJ5 and Goku's AF clothes in general are based on. You can see it here if you scroll down a ways. I think it'd be neat to show SSJ5 Goku in that pose.
I thought it looked better than his GT hair, but I suppose it'd pretty much have to.GenerationII wrote:I guess this is a good place to bring up Goten's hair. I PERSONALLY like the way Goten's hair looked at the end of DBZ. Does anyone else agree?
Hmmm...but they haven't actually fused in the story so far.GenerationII wrote:As for Goten and Trunks I think that they should be show training in uh... Dende's Palace (Trunks in a buisiness suit and Goten in his SM3 costume) and then maybe they fuse? I don't know.
