Episode 36 of GT, for instance, trumps any art ever done by DBZ. And Studio Cockpit was only DBZ's #3 animation team in terms of quality, if you ask me.Metalwario64 wrote:Also, Studio Cockpit never worked on GT, so Z wins by default in the animation category.Honestly though, I don't think GT ever looked nearly as good as any episodes done by Studio Cockpit.

Okay.
Did you want to expand on that...?

I was hoping you'd expand on why you think Episode 36's artwork is superior first. I replied with a nearly identical amount of vagueness, so go on.Savage68 wrote:Okay.

Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
That's cool, but my post was more aimed and Metalwario's, not yours. If you wanted to give a retort to one of my posts that was directed at someone else, I'd think that you would've brought something else to the table besides a "two wrongs make a right" mentality. And looking back, I can't find anyone going into extensive detail on why they think so-and-so is better / worse than so-and-so... I was just confused as to why someone would take the time to post "i beg to differ" without offering up anything that may give some insight as to why they beg to differ, or any examples that give their opinion some basis.Perfect wrote:I was hoping you'd expand on why you think Episode 36's artwork is superior first.
Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
You're missing something here. On forums people respond to posts that aren't directed at them for various reasons. Hence an argument. It doesn't matter if it was aimed at his. I replied with a nearly equal amount of vagueness, hoping you'd take the hint and expand on why you think Episode 36's artwork is superior to anything in Z. Also, I'm not sure where you're getting this "two wrongs make a right mentally" stuff from, because you know, it's not math. Two rights don't make a wrong, two wrong don't make a right, unless by some odd turn of events in something of that nature would take place, however that is for sure not the case here. I gave about as much insight as you did, I'll gladly list episodes and reasons once you do, you know, because you did start the whole conflict with vague reasoning...No, next to none at all. Support your reasoning more often and this won't happen.Savage68 wrote:That's cool, but my post was more aimed and Metalwario's, not yours. Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
Skimming, skimming, skimming...
I only listed a single episode because we were discussing animation teams, and since it'd be silly to make a list of episodes with identical art/animation, only a single mention sufficed to get my (very light) point across.
But I did list an episode. GT's Episode 36.Perfect wrote:I'll gladly list episodes and reasons once you do

You misinterpreted my context. You didn't list any reasons for 36, I'll list episodes and reasons once you list reasons.Savage68 wrote:Skimming, skimming, skimming...

You're trying to create an argument based off a "plural" I put, meaning that I'd list multiple episodes to show there just so happens to be better quality episodes than GT #36.

This is some...interesting logic you've got here. Doesn't it sorta make your initial comment (and by default, your entire reason for responding to me at all) worthless? I mean, you're holding me to a standard that I obviously had never made for myself, and then vilifying me for it, on top of that. I'm more confused than ever...
Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball?
You gave absolutely no reasoning to justify your comment. You're asking me to expand on mine, when you haven't expanded on yours. That was the whole point, justify your reasoning, and you won't have arguments like this. I'm holding you at a standard you never made? What? I'm holding you at the exact standard you've given, you know, the one where you make statements with no supported reasoning. I don't how any of this is confusing, given that everything is in plain context. Unless you've made the cliched mistake of over analyzing everything.Savage68 wrote:Perfect wrote:You didn't list any reasons for 36, I'll list episodes and reasons once you list reasons.![]()

I gave an example, though, which was the only thing I set out to do. Chill.Perfect wrote:You gave absolutely no reasoning to justify your comment.
Re: What is the worst ever thing that happened to Dragonball
Uhm, an example? You just said GT#36, supplied with no reasoning as to why the artwork and or animation is of superior quality. I don't know why you're telling me to "chill", since I'm perfectly calm. Please refrain from making such ill mannered assumptions.Savage68 wrote:I gave an example, though, which was the only thing I set out to do. You mean him posting perfectly reasonable questions and you replying in what could be taken either two ways as a) covering your own bullshit call or b) being to unintelligent to actually reply reasonably or understand why others need proof.
You've just gone out on a limb and claimed that a specific episode of a rather poorly animated series is far superior to that of a series that had some amazing but also terrible animation, all that's been asked for is you to elaborate, be reasonable and say why it's better, post proof of it being better, anything that would actually validate a response other than what you've apparently been getting
-edit-
I've also noted your immaturity as is highlighted by using Perfect's quote in your post, as if you somehow have the right to claim him to be wrong in the eyes of all who see your signature

You must have an absolutely useless dictionary if you believe I was ever "angry". And here we go with the completely unjustifiable statements.Savage68 wrote:No, I meant the 'getting angry over cartoons' part...Jaruka wrote:The same path?

Way to avoid my post, I'm chalking this up to 'covering his own ass' or as I like to call it: PWE - Posting Without Evidence.Savage68 wrote:No, I meant the 'getting angry over cartoons' part...Jaruka wrote:The same path?

Please in future make sure you have proof to back up your claims, it makes it easier to avoid discrepancies like this.
