I'm kind of hoping that Saiyan bit doesn't turn out to be accurate (no offense to your fiance or her translating abilities though, TheDevilsCorpse), mostly cuz I don't really want another universe of Saiyans, bah. :/ Just because they're twin universes doesn't mean they have to always have literally the same species all the way throughout or not.

They have the same planets, so obviously they'd have the same species too. It's going to become a problem, if they have the same people

That's already a problem for me because I was really looking forward to seeing what kind of crazy new species and designs Toriyama could come up with. I mean, its the multiverse, there must be some cool looking shit out there. But the twin universes deal seems like a way for him to have a multiverse without needing to put effort into designing new stuff.

That's pretty much my stance on the matter. The page says Saiyans, so the only way it's not accurate is if someone botched it up when translating it into Korean in the first place. I personally would prefer entirely new races and characters, but so long as we aren't just going to see alternate versions of Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, etc, I'm not going to be too upset.

Maybe one of Champa's Saiyans will be a girl; that'll be new. But I can't help but wonder how these Saiyans will be able to keep up with any of "our" team's fighters. Are we dealing with righteous Saiyans who are all walking around with SSG(SS) power...or some other Saiyan form? I mean, Goku and Vegeta are setting a high tier...

I am also open to Prince Kakarrotto and Princess (female) Vegeta, but I feel they've already played that out what with Vegeta getting hit with two pink aprons within two episodes of each other.

I don't really mind if the Saiyans are super strong, it's a different universe, maybe with different (or new) transformations, with a different lore, different events happened, and so on and so forth, they have any reason they want to create powerful characters. I'll be upset, though, if there's an alternate version of Goku/Vegeta/etc THAT strong.

I don't really mind if the Saiyans are super strong, it's a different universe, maybe with different (or new) transformations, with a different lore, different events happened, and so on and so forth, they have any reason they want to create powerful characters. I'll be upset, though, if there's an alternate version of Goku/Vegeta/etc THAT strong.

Anything prior to Goku and Vegeta's levels as gods and I wouldn't even care. Enough training and transformations and I guess someone is bound to reach Buu levels eventually. But the God level power is just so far beyond that, that it would feel like too weak of a narrative to just have them in that realm 'just because'. I wouldn't really buy it without an explanation (even a basic one).

U6 saiyans followed the normal pattern and Instead of Gods, they became ssj4. SSB vs SSj4. Super vs GT.

I'm hoping for some clarification on the extent of the Twinverse characteristics. Did an event bring forth the Universes identically, with the differences starting there? Or do the Kaioshins communicate with each other: "I'm gonna make a planet with green humanoid slugs" said Kaioshin X, "Cool, I'll do the same but 'll give mine four fingers, just for giggles." answers Kaioshin Z. With everything staying fairly similar.
Of course the Saiyan Planet, Namek and the Earth might have existed from the start. But I would expect the Universes to have different layouts, from the same source. Specially when there's Hakaishins destroying planet in bunches.

Not to say, new Saiyans bother me. However, if there's another version of Goku or Vegeta. I will demand an in-depth explanation of the workings of this twinverse. Brand new Saiyans, fine. Identical Saiyans, please no.

It just happens to be in a short little post that comes after two long posts containing most of the text. The implication of the last line is that they need to have Saiyans on their team (so Champa probably already knows U6 has Saiyans); it's phrased the same way as Goku saying the need to get Boo for their team.

There's nothing wrong with having Saiyans in Universe 6. There's nothing even wrong with having powerful Saiyans in Universe 6. But it is incredibly lazy. Instead of introducing new alien species, it's implying they're just going to have more Saiyans. And if we actually get something like Evil!Goku, I am going to be very annoyed. Because that's the laziest idea for a villain you could ever do.

It could be a good idea if it's utilised well. I'm more frustrated that this is going to fuel a month of nothing but Evil Goku discussions.

Amazing, this will be very amusing for the fandom. I welcome more Saiyans, especially if they're female.

Argh, so it was true. Now I'm worried again. I really don't want alternate versions of our established cast to be a thing in official capacity. It just feels too...comic book-ish. Too DC or Marvel. That and it just really would seem odd, since Champa and Vados are very much their own characters complete with their own names, rather than flat out being 'Beerus 2' and 'Whis 2'.

I guess if it's done in an interesting way, I'd be fine with us ending up with characters that are similar in personality and strength to our existing characters, but I don't want it to get too directly paralleled or it just seems...meh.
