I've read a lot of versus results of this type of match up and a lot agree that Movie 10 SSJ Broly was roughly in the same league as his Movie 8 LSSJ self. With that in mind, SSJ Broly wins.

Bulchi (Bulma + Chi-Chi fusion dance) vs. Videl (no flight)
- Ranma hits a brick wall at 22nd Budokai Tenkaichi Roshi
Ranma can always just turn into Ranko to distact Roshi.
You mean Ranma-chan..?

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
Krillin (22nd Budokai) vs. Jackie Chun (21st Budokai)

Krillin, easily. Krillin put up a decent fight against "match mode" Goku in the 22nd WMAT. That's the same Goku that kicked Tao's ass. Tao is much more powerful than 21st WMAT Jackie Chun.
DBZAOTA482 wrote:Krillin (22nd Budokai) vs. Jackie Chun (21st Budokai)
I think Krillin wasn't that far short of Chun/Roshi at the 21st and with the strides he made between the tournaments...I gotta give this to Krillin, though it certainly would be a pretty close match up.

But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.

No. He defeated 28 constellations like gods with ease, and they needed the arm of an universe sized Buddha to contain him. And he transcended to Buddhahood at the end of his journey.

How could normal SS Broly from the second movie defeat Bio Broly? Bio Broly is in (what looks) to be LSS form. That alone should make Bio Broly the winner. LSS is stronger than normal SS because, well have you seen the Broly movies? Lol

Yet the 2 SSJ kids didn't get auto-killed by him. He's definitely portrayed as weaker than normal.

Because the boys couldn't even harm SSJ Broly in the last movie. They could only run from him. Against Bio Broly they could manage a lot more. The time frame is unlikely to be long, so the boys shouldn't be stronger, if not barely stronger than last time.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Doctor. wrote:I've explained before, I'll just paraphrase myself.
Power levels establish tension and drama. People who care about them (well, people who care about them in a narrative) don't care about the big numbers or the fancy explosions. If you have character A who's so much above character B, who's the main character, you're gonna be left wondering how in the hell character B, the character we're supposed to care and root for, is going to escape the situation or overcome the odds. It makes us emotionally invested.
If character B doesn't escape the situation in a believable way that's consistent with previous events, then that emotional investment is gone. It was pointless tension, pointless drama made just to suck in the viewer. It has no critical value whatsoever. The audience is left believing that the author can just create whatever scenarios he wants and what happens to the characters is decided by whatever the author wants to happen, regardless of the events that happened in the story. Which, in fairness, is what happens, but the audience wants to be fooled. The audience wants to know that the world they're following has rules. That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
22nd WMAT King Chappa VS Mercenary Tao (No Ki attacks or flying)
Colonel Silver VS Ranfan (No stripping)
23rd WMAT Yajirobe with sword VS Drum
Otherworld Tournament Paikuhan and Olibu VS 2 Cell Jr.s
-Lord Yao stomps. He took a beating from an SSJ who obviously wasn't holding back.
-King Chappa wins with effort.
-Ranfan can still distract him and knock him out.
-I don't know about Yajirobe's training but I don't think he got too much stronger than he was back at the Piccolo Daimao Saga so Drum beats him like a... drum.
