Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Ahh, all right haha. I didn't know if I was misremembering or misinterpreting something or not there. Either way, it still leaves ample room for the special character to be either of the predictions, or even something else entirely for all we know.

The best would be both, Super Cell as Dr. Gero's ultimate android and Super Baby 17 as Dr. Myuu's ultimate Machine Mutant

TheDevilsCorps, if you don't mind me asking, what is this project you're working on?DNA wrote:Yup, totally see that too, and I hope it is. I didn't think about it in the "fusing two machine mutants" way. Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Hmm...you know, I know I'm overthinking it since Heroes doesn't seem to go out of it's way to put too much thought into it's story, but...that would make a lot of sense. I've always had a bit of a problem with how easily deceived Gero was. It'd make more sense for him to have been working on a similar deception behind Myuu's back, just like how Myuu was on him. So maybe in this scenario, after Super 17 has turned on Gero, Gero's secondary plan goes into action - having Cell, who he'd retrofitted to be able to aborb Super 17, come into play and do just that, thereby crushing Myuu for his treachery as well as getting his long awaited revenge on everyone else.

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Soooo, I noticed the back of one of the GT Vegeta cards on a Youtube video I was watching, and it listed him as a Super Saiyan 2 for the form the card depicts. Soooo, um...that's been a thing for a while now for those who care.
Also went back through the card lists while preparing to update the download packet and noticed this little gem:

For those of you who don't know, it says:
サイヤ人(???)
ヒーロー
(超サイヤ人2)
Saiyan(???)
Hero
(Super Saiyan 2)
This makes it sound like they are in the second SS stage, but I think it's how they are stupidly referring to the GM versions of the SS avatars; as in more like Super Saiyan 2nd version. This image classifies them the same way, but all of them look basically the exact same as their original mission versions. Maybe someone who understands the language could clear this up?

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
I saw the card in the first picture, which is from Galaxy Mission 4. GM4 released September 13th, 2012. So it was around LONG before that, but it seems someone was more observant much earlier than I (though I don't regularly check for vids or pictures of card backs).JeffJarrett wrote:Since March 2013.

No electric bolts, and they look different because they have their alternate skin.gokugambitoptimus wrote:Well, if we look closely, we can see that the hair color is different and the characters have electric bolts

I would prefer Cell absorbing Super #17, but I would also like to to see Baby possessing Super #17.

Oh shit, so we missed that for nearly a year... Makes me wonder if we missed anything else. Maybe Trunks does have Super Saiyan 2 and we haven't noticed?

Why do the SSJ2s look like the SSJs and vice versa
?

Which Trunks? We have many Trunks versions.DNA wrote:Maybe Trunks does have Super Saiyan 2 and we haven't noticed?
I wonder though if GT Gohan also has the form. But it's strange, I search the official site for GT Vegeta, and he only has his normal, Super Saiyan, and Super Saiyan 3 forms. He doesn't even have an icon for Super Saiyan 2:

Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Not all the characters have icons. They are only given to those involved in team attacks or team stat buffs. SS2 Vegeta doesn't have a card with any team skills, so he doesn't have an icon. He's clearly a Super Saiyan 2 though, as it says 超サイヤ人2 under the transformation section below his name the same way it lists them on the icons:DBZGTKOSDH wrote:I wonder though if GT Gohan also has the form. Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
So after checking the Heroes twitter account and having this page quasi translated (the text is incomplete), it seems the avatars have indeed gained Super Saiyan 2 as a skill replacement for Super Saiyan. From what I can tell, since sometime around GM4 or 5 at least, maybe sooner (perhaps when the Galaxy Missions started and they got the new clothes)? The have no real SS2 traits though, in-game, on cards or for the commercials... :/TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Spoiler:

Oh, so they are Super Saiyan 2 just because even though they clearly aren't in any way? Awesome.
Re: Dragon Ball Heroes
Like I said, they don't know how SS hair works. The evidence was already in SS3 bangs.

Then I guess this is why Beet had sparks at one point in the manga.
