I don't see that being the issue. If anything, this arc has glacier pacing, especially compared to the movie.sintzu wrote:Maybe it's because the video moves faster or different than the original.Scsigs wrote:Super's fine & all, but I feel it's either too rushed for some reason, or the actors aren't in total sync with the characters' voices like they should, which is bullshit considering that these guys have had to dub stuff for Dragon Ball constantly every year since they first started. I feel it'll really come together either by Resurrection F, or after. Seriously, why does that dub feel so rushed while TFC's doesn't? They've been recording Super since July, or something I assume, given the Instagram post Jason Douglas made all the way back then. I get that TFC was recorded over the process of a year or 2, but these actors are usually really good with their voice acting.
No, what I mean is that for some of the actors, it seems like they didn't give them enough time in the booth to do multiple takes before getting it right for them, or Sabat didn't give them entirely correct voice direction. Kara Edwards as Goten's too inconsistent in the tone she wants to use for some reason (that being the normal Goten tone & a higher-pitched one), as I've mentioned before, & Chi Chi's actress sounds like she's coming off a bad case of strep throat, & is subsequently having to rip her throat apart to even get her Chi Chi voice out. Most everyone else sounds fine, which really concerns me if those 2 are the outliers. The arc, overall, has moments of feeling rushed at times outside of them as well though once the main plot kicked in, so I don't know.
