Actually, this all depends on if Salagir believes Beerus' line from BOG that Freeza > Base Goku. He did have Goku go SS to beat 17, so we'll see.

Well this does also take place a bit after BoG would of. I could see them doing something like Goku fights completely in base and says something like "if this had been a few years ago I probably wouldn't of been able to win without KK or SS" as a reference to the BoG line.
Or maybe he still won't be that strong, IIRC its said that without something like fusion a SS1 won't surpass a SS2 and SS2 isn't a huge jump in power in DBM so I'm guessing they don't subscribe to the high end of power scaling.

Nice page, but, to be honest, I'm not big fan of making Freeza nad his family a comic relief, like in filler DBZ/DBGT.

Getting another Bojack special on the 23rd. This artist seems far better than the last Bojack artist, but who cares about Bojack's past really? An explanation of Kat/reason why her group only appears in one universe, or Bojack's dealing with Babidi or Broly's return to Earth in Bojack's universe are more interesting topics wouldn't you say?

Bojack's story is boring without something else to back it up. I'd rather see a special on something like how all those Saiyans lost to Raichi.

Good page.. That's probably the most badass thing Vegetto said in the entire comic. Whatever spell Boo is in it must be powerful as hell.

If the special is about Bojack's race in general and sheds some info on their culture I'm all for it. He and his gang had very good designs and provided some interesting villains despite some flat personalities. They got potential, so lets see how this goes.

A special dedicated to Bojack's origins is weird because it doesn't specifically relate to DBM. Unless it explains those random girls it'll just be a fanfiction about one of DBZ's villains.

What are your guys predictions on the next round? My are:

Goku vs. Freeza - We know Goku will win this one. I think Freeza will comment on how Goku can't beat him without transforming and Freeza powers up to his 5th form then Goku wins by going SSj.

Majin Buu vs. Uub - This one can go either way. I feel like Uub could end up winning due to PIS or Fat Buu will surprise us with something.

Vegeta vs. Kakarot - Kakarot seems like he's very powerful, but I don't think he can reach SSj3. It can go either way, but I can see Vegeta winning.

Cell vs Tapion - Unless Tapion pulls something fast, Cell would win this 10/10.

XXI vs. #18 - XXI stomps

Bra vs. King Cold - Bra stomps

Gast vs. Raichi - I see Gast winning this one

We all know Goku and Vegeta are going to win their respective fights, if the tournament goes that far, and face each other. Not sure about the others, though Salagir seems to dislike Buu since he's constantly making him look like a bitch, and he's been hyping up his OC XXI for a while, so my money's on him. As for Bra and Gast, I don't know.

Love these outcomes, all of them should be most entertaining.
I can't see them going any other way.

Vegeta vs Cell will most likely be my most anticipated match out of all of them.
Cell better win against Tapion, I'll be really disappointed if he gets beaten by the elf...

Jumping ahead: the last match of the tournament will be Vegeta Vs XXI then. Mark my words (please don't).

Vegeta will win his match with Goku, because every fanfiction ever has Vegeta finally get what he wants after being the eternal second runner.

XXI will beat Buu or Uub, so XXI will definitely go to the semi-finals. Bra Vs Gast is trickier, but whoever wins they should face XXI. XXI Vs Bra is good storywise because XXI beat her father. It makes sense to have her learn from his mistakes and try to one shot him, so he'd better have something else up his sleeve to stop this, or that's it.

Why should XXI be in the final match? Simple. He's the villain, or at least hyped as one. Storywise, the last match should probably involve the villain. Ergo, Vegeta Vs XXI, or at least Goku Vs XXI.
