On the discs I watched, there was one trailer on each, I think. Just before the Main Menu.
That's strange! :? I played all the six discks and it skips everything to the main menus in all of them!

WinDVD, Media Player Classic and VLC media player.

EDIT: Well, it's not the first time I have this problem. In my R2 PAL version of Azumanga Daioh, it skips the language selection menu in my Laptop, but it appears when I play it on my DVD player.

Nevermind, problem solved.

It was from the settings of my region-free software.

I have a bad feeling about this.

The MSRP of the first set is now in line with the second set. TRSI being FUNimation's Z-Store probably gives 'em license to hold more special deals. I really wouldn't take this as a bad sign. Dragon Ball Z sells, and with a previously scorned market now throwing their money at FUNimation, things should be good.

How were the sales of the first Dragon Box? VegettoEX mentioned something about poor sales on one of his news announcements, which is actually pretty surprizing considdering how great the reviews were compared to all the negative criticism on the Season Sets. Maybe it's because the Dragon Box was ultimatly more expensive than the season sets, probably why they are lowering the price of the Dragon Boxes.

I did not say that it sold poorly.

The MSRP on the second set was dropped, and we speculated as to what the reason may have been.

Just to level the field a bit, FUNimation actually dropped prices on a lot of their catalog. I wouldn't see this as an indicator of poor sales in the least.

Which is exactly what we discussed in follow-up conversations :D.

What's... so wrong about that review exactly, other than being sorta amateur?

So? Its amaturely shot, but they don't come across as ignorant or wrong, so how were they ignorant?

Low production values + amaturishness /= ignorance

Why are we arguing about this? Someone has a different opinion. I haven't watched the video but seriously just because they were called ignorant doesn't call for a huge argument.

It wasn't that huge of an argument. c.c

Anyway, I found it to be a decent little review of the box set. Of course, it helps their opinion of the set basically mirrors my own, but you know. =3

Ok, first off I am very impressed with the Dragonbox! I just finished watching the first episode of DBZ UNCUT and I am very very pleased! There is so much I missed from not watching the UNCUT version of DBZ all of this time! I mean I can't believe it! Gohan discovering the lion and going into the waterfall and then landing on that branch! They cut all of that out in the edited version!!!! I must say the colors look a lot better then the edited Version as well, they are not so bright and they don't hurt my eyes.

This time Funimation really did well! I am excited to get the rest of the UNCUT episodes!!!! I can't wait to see more scenes that I missed when watching the Edited version. I give the Dbox a 5/5

I wasn't arguing so much as trying to understand. If he'd said he didn't like the review, that is rarely something that can be explained, but calling it ignorant, and citing production values as why leaves me absolutely puzzled about what he's trying to say.

Moreover just shouting that its a different opinion isn't going to silence anyone, that sort of short sighted "oh well you can't argue cause its his opinion" is downright silly, of course it was his opinion, you think I'm stupid? Is it so WRONG these days to ask someone to clarify? REALLY?

It isn't so much that I don't like the review(I was quite surprised), but just saying that the only difference is the the cropping is a bit...

EDIT: Oh, hey, look! Is that a Dragon Box I see? :D
