Yeah the Raditz music is good! Kenji Yamamoto's score works here.

My bullet-point style review:

- Nice, shiny animation!!

- I'm glad my TV's showing it widescreen...I've had problems with other HD shows being cropped to fullscreen because the network airing the show didn't know how to handle HD programming on SD TVs.

- I'm not really in love with Gohan's face when he's falling and gets caught by Goku on the Kinou'un...it looks kind of weird and deformed to me.

- The opening features mostly Siaya-Jin saga stuff with only one shot of Freeza to break things up.

- Just as we thought...the Bardock stuff is here.

- Goku's pee-pee is gone!

- And now we see Bardock going after Freeza.

- The cropping isn't all that noticeable so far.

- That was quick...the Bardock stuff lasted all of five minutes, if *that*

- And now...Dragon Ball footage.

- They're showing a lot of the Goku vs. Piccolo stuff...I guess it's to make his eventual joining with Goku seem not so random to first-time viewers or something.

- They're showing more of the "Gohan in the woods" stuff than I thought.

- Hey, it's the farmer guy!

- There are some moments when the film shows its age...one particular moment that stuck out is when Raditz is coming out of his ship and his hair color keeps fluctuating between black and *not quite* black.

- Part of Raditz's power level reading got cropped out

- New eyecatch! Still not loving how they're drawing Gohan, though.

- Raditz makes it into the eyecatch!? *Really*?? I hope they plan on updating that...

- The power reading got cropped out again!

- They left in Roshi being all pervy with Bulma

- So the episode ends after Raditz slaps Kuririn with his tail.

- This ending theme...eh.

- The preview just shows more stuff on the island, so it's hard to say what episode of the original series the second episode of Kai will cover.

- These "gohan desu yo" commercials are hilarious.

The music was the best part of this episode!
Less Gohan in the woods, good memories, great interaction with the community, commercials, seiyu were great, and this is everything Funimation wish they could be. Can't wait till next week.
