God, I loved that little piece of music they just played. So awesome.

I love the instrumental version of Yeah! Break! Care! Break! after the "next episode preview"

Very good episode. I did recognize a lot of BGM pieces recycled from the first episode, but not too many. I really loved having another Dragonball flashback to start out the episode!!
Once again the BGM piece used during the next episode preview was the chopped up 25 second version of the complete version (30 seconds), which I found pretty obvious.
Was it just me, or did the colors seem closer to the Dragon Boxes in this episode? More contrast and less washed out/over brightened?

Radditz really improved in this episode, and I also thought the pacing and music were better this time as well. I am looking forward to the next episode which I am guessing will take care of the whole fight.

I only had my DB Vol. 17 out for the second half of the episode, but they cut out a few things from the manga, I noticed. They got rid of Roshi, Bulma, and Krillin's comments about Goku and Piccolo teaming up, and Goku and Piccolo's thoughts about Raditz being so powerful.
I liked this episode though. The music that played when Goku and Piccolo flew off sounded cool.

Yeah, as others have said, the Paradise typo was corrected. They also ommitted a lot, so much that we're at the end of Episode 3 already. A minor nitpick was that they're also appearing to be ommitting some dialogue that was in the manga, like when Goku commented on Piccolo's weighted clothes. Anyone else notice this?

Alright, so this episode covered chapters 198 and 199, which is the second half of DBZ episode 2 and all of episode 3. So far the pattern is two chapters an episode, which is pretty good pace.

Wasn't that the piece used in the Piccolo/Raditz confrontation in episode one? The nice guitar piece? Oh well, I'll figure it all out soon enough.Saiyajin no Tatsujin wrote:Another nice episode of DBKai. The BGM just keeps getting better and better. Doesn't it?I loved that piece that kicked in when Goku and Piccolo arrived at Raditz's crash site.

Bulma was much better, I am really digging the music.
