Oh, they're going. We're gonna try and finish up 13's this afternoon and put the three up at once. I'll address the reasoning behind this when I update the site.

No worries, you are doing an excellent job already, no need to push you.

Ooh, any chances of getting some higher res/wallpaper sized versions of these new eyecatches? :D

As I said in the chat, incredible episode. Loved the new music and animation to death.

This episode was pretty good and the music was great. I can't wait to see what the music will be like when Goku turns SS! :D

Meh, I like the first eyecatch but the first one, not so much. Vegeta looks nice, but Goku doesn't. And Gohan, Yajirobe and Krilin seem out of place

HAHAHAHA!

The Dream 9 logo is right over Gohan's face, hilarious.

Wow...I hadn't even noticed that. Maybe it'll be gone in the DVD/Blu Ray release

Of course it'll be. The Dream 9 logo is there to indicate the program block, it's placed there by Fuji TV for this particular run.

Thanks for the high resolution version of the eyecatch, MaJamie. 8)

Any chance someone around here could do the same for the previous eyecatches? I mean, all of them use reanimated-like graphisms, so they could be nice wallpapers!

Anyone else was annoyed by Vegeta's "mhmhmhmhmhmhmhmhmhmhm" through his powers storm? They should have left it mute like Z, I mean damn, it looked like Vegeta was actually "trying"..

I found most of his yells and grunts pretty weak compared to his performance in the DBZ scenes.

Agreed. From what remember, the original just had that eerie music playing, right? Either way, yeah, I didn't really get the feeling that Vegeta was really struggling in the original.

EDIT: By the way, good on the cropping for not making this shot look horrible :D.

Different area, I guess?
Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru's #1 biggest fan

A piece of animation is a beauty of art.

Man, that trumpet piece that played after Vegeta killed Nappa instantly reminded me of the theme to The Godfather. Classic.

Yeah, it makes sense that they would be able to fly partially around the planet that fast, I guess. Must have been to an earlier time zone.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Uranai Baba showed up and everyone started watching the battle on her crystal ball, since the camera men were all wiped out by Nappa. But since almost everything at Kame House is filler, her arrival was cut. However, the scene they left in was in the manga, although you don't see Baba in the manga.

Here are some screen shots I took of the new eyecatch.

Vegeta looks like the one from the buu saga in the eyecatch #2. Definitely looks older.

Awesome episode!! That part of Goku fighting with Kaioken against Vegeta is one of my most favourite DBZ/now Kai, moments. I can't wait to finally see Freeza in future
