I know a way to settle this, I think Vegeta should give Nimbus a try and see if he can fly on it.

You guys have it all wrong. The beings that Goku and Gohan killed were evil, and for a right cause. Tamborine killed many people, and would've countinued killing more people if Goku didn't enforce justice and kill him. I mean, there is a murderous monsterous beast working for the most dangerous being at that time, king Piccolo, and he's killing innocent people, he's trying to kill Goku, Goku's a good guy, what's he supposed to do, not kill him and let him kill everyone else and himself? Yeah, thats justice. Having violent thoughts doesn't make you impure, it makes you human. Thats like saying you don't have a pure heart because you got angry.
Also, with Chi-Chi, she may be yelling all the time, but her intentions are good. She wants her son to be a schollar and to have a future, which is why she is alwayes yelling, for over protection.
