We should have a page on the main site for Parodies and Homages of the DB series. I think there is a sceen in Bastard!! where the Angels do a fusion type of a dance which is a homage for Gotenks?

I remember someone posted a long ago on these forums a music video of a band which used Dragon Ball Z clips along with the band performing the song (not live). Does anyone remember that?

School Rumble has a scene where Harima turns Super Saiyan while fighting Karasuma. And then there's School Rumble Z.
Not a problem.

I believe so when Angels evolving/powering up was a tribute to the the Fusion Dance. I have read most of Bastard!!, and I believe it happens in Vol. 18 or 19 if I'm not mistaken.

Here are two great DBZ abridged series besides TeamFourStar:

Another DBZ Abridged by Chicknwings

DBZ: The Real Abridged

EDIT: Although...that series did just lead to my google-ing "swap.avi"...

...which, in turn, led to me finding the "Pain Series"....

I believe there's a Dragon Ball parody in an episode of The Grim Adventures Of Billy & Mandy called Chicken Ball Z.

I know, a pretty big stretch, but the resemblance is there!

I already posted that one ^^;

What about this?
:D I love Gintama! (Not very far in yet, though) There are a ton of DB references in it. In an early episode, Kagura refers to herself as Goku, a space warrior. Also, Freeza is mentioned in a next episode preview. In the next episode, there's an evil alien character who's voiced by Ryusei Nakao. Oh, and that video is from episode 100. They insult Yamcha very well in that episode. :D

@.:PoetikaL:. Your signature reminded me of another thing from the Ryusei Nakao episode of Gintama. That line is parodied! Daraku (Nakao's character) hates people who get in the way of work, people who don't wash their hands after using the restroom, & people who have wavy hair. Gintoki possesses all three traits.

I would like to see that actually! I can't remember what episode Freeza said that though.

No, I'd say he's right on the "Family Guy funny."

As in, really not funny at all.

Ye gods, that was terrible.
