For the record, they aren't removing all references to death. There are a bunch of times the word "die" or "death" is said. You just don't know it cause I don't make a note of it because it's not an edit. "Dies" is actually in the opening theme song! "Nothing ever dies we will rise again".

I'd say FUNi is being a bit more lenient with the edits than Saban with the Ocean dub.

I would love to do this with all the episodes. I know some episodes are goiong to be more work then others but, I'm hoping some episodes have maybe one or two edits later on... . I mean what could they edit out of that episode where everyones in the hospital and Bulma goes to check out that space ship with Popo. I could think of maybe two things.

I kind of like the TV version of Goku getting hit with the "Special Beam Cannon" better. The blast makes it look like it pierced Raditz's body and just hit Goku hard after making an exit wound. It explains the weird purple bruise better.
