Favorite Faulconer Productions Theme

Re: Favorite Bruce Faulconer theme
Is it the song that plays when Goku tells Gohan to stop being so hard on himself? I think I know the name of it. Part of it played just before Goku went SSJ1 against Android 19.
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!
Cold World (Fanfic)

Damn, I can't remember. I can recall another time when it played, though... It's when Goku's telling Gohan that it's up to him to defeat Cell and bring peace to the universe and all that.jjgp1112 wrote:Is it the song that plays when Goku tells Gohan to stop being so hard on himself? Yeah, there you go. That's the one I was talking about. I always thought that theme was Goku's, though, lol.

Re: Favorite Bruce Faulconer theme
Oh, I totally forgot about that song. Love it.
Anyways, my favourites are "Ginyu Force Theme", "Ginyu Transformation", "Super Saiyan 3 Theme", "Super Saiyan Vegeta Theme" and "Dark Calm" (which is unreleased). There are probably more like that other one above that I've forgotten throughout the years though.
Re: Favorite Bruce Faulconer theme
Pikk0n's theme is made of win.
As is Super Buu.
I think I've become a little disenchanted with the SSJ3 transformation just because of how popular and thus, used it is. Though I recall that one year (Ur, some time in the past three or four...), I had it played on New Years Eve so that the climax would happen at exactly midnight.

Mr.Morgan, is it true Funi told you Trunks was evil when you were asked to compose music for his scenes? The track name "Trunks Stews" reminded me of that and I just wanted to see if it was true.

Erm, I'm pretty sure the closest thing we have is Wasted Wisher who works for an animation team that produces Japanese DBZ material.Goku100xKamehameha wrote:Mr.Morgan previously work at FUNimation, I wonder if someone that someone who work at Toei Japan are on this site?

Re: Favorite Bruce Faulconer theme
I worked at Faulconer Productions Music\CakeMix Recording which was hired by Funimation to do music for DBZ.
Yeah Funi told us Trunks was a bad guy when we weren't making the music edgy enough for them.

Wow, thanks for confirming that. I wish they wouldn't have blatantly lied to you guys, I mean you guys probably didn't care it just seems odd.

Re: Favorite Bruce Faulconer theme
A couple of things...
Anybody know where I can here the extended cut of "Guru's Theme"? Everytime I go to Youtube the only version that's available is the 1 minute and something seconds version.
Secondly, I forgive FUNi for thinking that Trunks was a bad guy, because the music that plays as he's turning into a SSJ against Freeza kicks ass anyway.
Lastly, @CrookieMonster, I love the work that was done during the second half of "Spirit Bomb". One of the reasons it's my favorite theme is in fact because of the work you did. Those were some awesome, epic tunes right there.

FUNi know Trunks is a good guy but they tricked them by saying Trunks is a bad guy.

Well that's what they told us, whether we believed it is a different story

Still, we had to deliver what the customer wanted, so Destruction replaced Heroic Trunks basically.

Re: Favorite Bruce Faulconer theme
Oh yeah, I love the sadness theme too(Fallen Prince\Dark Prince ending is based on it). That actually connects with the...err...dangit I dunno what the fans call it. All those really old tracks really run together as written, they didn't have names.
