Favorite Faulconer Productions Theme

Post by Codarik » Sat Jul 03, 2010 9:39 pm

Hey everybody, what's your favorite Faulconer Productions theme?

My all time favorites are Super Buu's Theme, Gohan Powers Up, Gohan fights Frieza, and The Howling.

Babidi's theme, hands down. Notable seconds include Pikkon's theme and fat Buu's theme as well. As a matter of fact, the entire Buu arc is rife with catchy character themes. The way the score was used in the show was overall unfitting and slightly irritating, but there are some really standout tracks in there.

Also, if I were Babidi, I'd look into my crystal ball and predict that this thread will be moved to the music section at some point.

This is difficult. The themes used when Goku and Vegeta first transform into SSJs are good (don't know if they count as themes), as well as Evil and Super Buu's themes.

Mine is "Super Buu" as well, it sounds like it came out of Sonic the Hedgehog 3...which makes it amazing!

I don't see it either.

The only Dragon Ball Z themes that really sound like something straight out of a mid-90s video game are the SSJ3 theme and Battle Point Infinite. I can easily see the latter in a Capcom or SNK fighting game from the 90s.

Well to each his own but I thought Battle Point Infinite was from the Japanese version? Or is there some Falcouner track that I'm not aware about?

The way the melody changes is pretty similar, I'll give you that.

Cell's Theme is great. It's a shame the arrangement sucked, they overused it, and it gets stale within the show.

My top three favorite themes are 'Goku's Spirit Bomb', 'Guru's Theme', and another one that I can't remember the title of. I'm thinkin' jjgp might know the name of it. The one moment I can remember it playing was when Gohan's having trouble with his Kamehameha against Cell, and then Goku starts talking to him telepathically from Snake Way. That's like, the Goku theme for me.
