There was a sales thread, but it was made before the release of Raging Blast. Can you provide some evidence to suggest that Burst Limit outsold Raging Blast?SparkyPantsMcGee wrote: Raging Blast suffered from a negative reception too, only there's was worse. Not one gaming site loved the game and sales were worse than Burst Limit(There is a sales thread around here somewhere). The only reason Burst Limit two isn't happening any time soon is because, as VegettoEX has pointed out, Dimps is working on bigger titles.
A renewed interest in Burst Limit.

I'm all for a BL2 but if Dimps ever does consider a sequal I hope the finishing moves arent just rips of SB2 and arent bland, they need impact scenes,
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

The "..." means it was in a different post but they are all quotes from Super Saiyan Prime, the creator of that thread and the person who presented the source material.
here is the thread.Super Saiyan Prime wrote:Top 1000 was released:
728 [360] Dragon Ball: Raging Blast (Bandai Namco Games) 9,745
893 [PS3] Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit (Bandai Namco Games) 6,942 / 152,582
...
Those 7000 sales are what it did in 2009. Burst Limit was released in 2008. The second number on all the games I posted are the life-time-to-date sales in Japan. The first is unit sales in 2009 in Japan.

111 [PS3] Dragon Ball: Raging Blast (Bandai Namco) - 107.542 / 107.542

Sorry for going off topic.
Since this thread, I've been playing Burst Limit on and off constantly. I'm currently putting most of my attention on Final Fantasy XII(yes 12) and Ratchet and Clank: a Crack in Time but when I'm done with that I'll probably play a lot more Burst Limit before spending more money on another game.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Re: A renewed interest in Burst Limit.
Played it for the first time today. More than two years of waiting. I so wanted to get my hands on that title.
Beautiful. The visual style and graphics are stunning. Raging Blast's style kind of puts me of - it seems wooden, if you get what I mean. Burst Limit's style is so vivid, it's breathtaking. While I loved the game so far, there are a couple of things that can be improved. As was mentioned, the drama pieces spam too damn much, although seeing them for the first time was kinda cool. Also, the game seems a bit slow for a DBZ title for me at times. And that, I have to admit, is something in which Raging Blasts has the upper hand - it has more freedom. I've always dreamt of a game that combined both Sparkling and Budokai elements - Budokai graphics and Sparkling fighting system... woosh. Anyway, back to Burst Limit. Those are my first impressions of it. I can't wait to play some more tomorrow after work and when I get some more experience /and manage to set up my wireless internet connection/ I'd love to go online and play a bit with you guys.
