Oh yeah, everything in that video is spot on. You wont struggle to find a Fish and Chip shop or a Pub in the UK. Most people put Vinegar on Chips, so it's not really added to everything.

Well, it's about bread. The series won the 2004 Shogakukan Manga Award for best shōnen manga.
This show is must watch. it's kind of like BoBoBo (I never BoBoBo) unfortunately there's no English home release for Yakitate!! Japan (that I can find), I watched it when it aired on Animax but now it's already gone.
