If you look at the actual disc packaging, there's nothing about "seasons" on there. The first set is simply "Part 1," the next is "Part 2," the upcoming is "Part 3," and so on.

I'm not getting on you or anything. I just said that I called it. As soon as a new piece of anything is announced, the Complaint Machine gets turned on and I just felt like calling it this time. I'd complain, too, if I didn't like it.

You may have gotten it on Amazon like I did since it is listed as "Season 1 Part X"

No, they are not separating Kai by "seasons". It's just gonna be Part 3, Part 4, Part 5 and so on. The only thing I've seen say "Season 1 Part 1" on it is the sticker on the BD slipcover at the store I bought it at, but that was undoubtedly put there by the retailer, not FUNimation, so who knows who's responsible for it saying that. I bought the Part 2 BD someplace else and it didn't have a similar sticker.

Although, I do love the cover...but his hand DOES look weird. Any news on if Gohan is on Dbox 5?

I just think it will look weird since by that time he is already 12 years old Gohan and SS 2 already isn't he?

Just seen the trailer. I think it has the same music as the 2nd trailer though.... and I noticed the trailer is listed as Season 1 Part 3.

No. Whoever typed up the title on the web page put it as "Season 1 Part 3" for whatever reason. The trailer itself and the packaging on the sets themselves don't say anything about seasons.

OMG ...

What is that ???
It`s everything but that is defintively NOT Piccolo ...
His hands and ears are so ... so ... I'm lost for words
Why we cannot get Boxarts like the japanese one ???

Goku was okay, but Vegeta and Piccolo have a cartoon-look style !!

I am very very dissapointed about the Graphic Designer who work at this fantastic DBZKai project ... They ruin this amazing and "serious" releases with their "cartoon-style" and I am sure non of the Designers have watched DB...

WE NEED NEW GRAPHIC DESIGNERS FOR THE DBZ KAI BOXARTS FUNi!!!
The word "KAI" means in the old North Germanic language Frisian "Kämpfer engl. Fighter" respectively "Krieger engl. Warrior"!

For the most part, I like the Cover. But the Trailer was awful. It was too much of the "Hardcore Rokz0rs" feel. I think their Season 1 Trailer was perfect. It was intense and heart pounding, but it didn't insist upon itself. Plus, this trailer also reminded me of how disappointed I am that that FUNimation didn't correct the spelling of Freeza's name for the Kai Dub. I mean really, they're changing attack names and even a characters name (No more "Guru"), so why not change the spelling to the correct and more logical spelling?

Personally, I love the trailer and its music. The trailer is very well made and shows the product off very very well. The music isn't as ill-fitting with Z Kai because Kenji Yamamoto's score does have some sick squidley squees.

Not just DBZ Kai artwork. But for all DB related stuff. They use the original Dragonbox artwork and they mess that up too. If Funimation used the original Kai artwork then most likely they would mess that up too.

How did they mess up the DBox artwork?

Funimation mess up on cover art whenever they don't take what every single fan wants and combines it into one image.

You're overreacting, the boxes all look great to me. I love the shiny-ness of them in person.

And how is that not Piccolo? It's PICCOLO! Piccolo's hat, Piccolo's cape, Piccolo's face, his arms, that's Piccolo!

A cartoon look style? What does that even mean? Not only is this a cartoon but they look very sharp and consistent to each other.

Boo-hoo, they used Freeza arc Goku on the Saiyan arc/First box.
