Guys and Gals, I have a question. I'm quite paranoid. You see, I want to buy the Kai Blu Rays sooo badly. But I'm really paranoid about them. What with all the news we have heard about Kai's time slot being taken, and that it may cancel. Also, now the Kai DVD's/Blu rays have decreased in price. This is only increasing my paranoia's suspicion that Kai will be cancelled. I would buy them, right now actually, since the price is down on all of them. But, I'm afraid that Kai will cancel shortly after I buy them, and I will be left with incomplete releases of Kai. I wouldn't mind waiting to see if Kai does or doesn't cancel. If I do wait, I can hope for a Kai box set from Funi. But also if I wait, I'm afraid these prices will spike again, and I'll miss the chance to get a great deal.
What I was really asking is, what would you say the chances of Kai being cancelled are? And sorry for the off-topic question.

Not a problem.
On most sites the Blu rays are 25 GBP each, like you said. For me, that's around 30 Euro each. So, if I wanted Kai BR 1 + 2, it would probably be around 65 Euro (incl. P+P, from a site like Amazon.co.uk using standard shipping). Although, I was planning on importing The DBZ Kai Saiyan set from Amazon.com. It has DBZ Kai BR 1 + 2. That would cost me 35 Euro, and a fiver P+P. So, in total, around 40 Euro. So, I don't mind saving 20 Euro! So, that's where I was planning to get it.

I know I totally bashed the last cover (because it sucked), but this cover art is so much better. Dare I say, good. I do agree with others that the weird lime-greenish color is very, distracting, and it does take away from the overall cover. Other than that and Trunks' super skinny left arm, I like it.

No. You'll still have a complete release of Kai. It's just that Kai as a series would only cover material up to the Cell arc.

Regardless of where Kai ends (absolutely no one has anything to go off of other than vague hints at this point), Funimation's not going to halt their DVD line. I'd say you're safe buying these now with the knowledge that the complete series might not cover as much as Z. Alternately, you could wait for inevitable price drops in the future. Bottom line, these DVDs aren't going anywhere. Prices aren't going to spike unless they go out of print and Funimation doesn't produce any repackaging of the series (which they usually do). And you'll have ample warning before either one of those happens.

Seeing the first half of Z with an accurate and uncensored English dub is truly worth the buy. I hope the whole Z arc gets the treatment, but if not, the first half (or rather 2/3rds) of the series is what needed it the most anyway.
