This is an awesome guide! I love seeing chapter title pages and stuff replicated in the anime, even if they're just in the enfings.

Oh, and I've noticed that Bulma in this image scene:

appears to be based on the title page for Tankôbon Volume 14:

Ah, nice catch! The info has now been added to the guide, so I guess I'll have to update its comparison image too.

All of these are from GT's End credits:

Not sure exactly in which chapters they appear, though.

I'm really stunned how many of these exist. It's a far greater amount than what I expected.

Well, the center one is an updated for GT version of the final panel of the series. The other two aren't from chapters, per se. According to Daizenshuu 1, the first is from the 1987 DB calendar in Weekly Jump #5, and the last one is for July/August of the 1990 calendar in Weekly Jump #5 of that year.

Yeah, I actually knew about these, but left them out since they weren't from any title pages (like Gaffer Tape noted). But I suppose I should finally include them since I did end up including Z stuff from calendars.

I'm bumping this thread to say that the mini-guide is now live on the site, since we've gone almost a whole day without any other additions. But, if you do have any other additions, let me know, otherwise I'm calling this one officially done. Again, thanks to everyone that helped with the couple influences I had originally missed. :D

Now onto our next "super exciting" project, literally!

Don't know if this counts, but I was watching the final episode of GT today and I just noticed this one:

Image

The top is GT when Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr were fighting.

The bottom is Trunks and Goten fighting.

Here's some I didn't see:

Image

Another reference from episode 125, Gohan's drawing.

ImageImage

The end of episode 133.

ImageImage

The end of episode 148.

ImageImage

Gohan meets Videl, episode 200.

ImageImage

Videl fights Great Saiyaman, episode 204.

ImageImage

The end of episode 245.

ImageImage

Movie 9 credits.

There are probably more, but I'm too lazy to check.

I also remember one from Movie 10 referencing a WSJ cover, but I don't know if you're including those.

Ah, cool. I guess I'll have to update the page, again!

Any chance you could direct me to what episode that drawing of Goku and Piccolo appears in?

Isn't it from 125, the driving license episode ("Goku's ordeal?"). Gohan was drawing instead of studying :D

Not a 100% sure though....
