Food for thought.

Why would they choose actors when the script has not been written?

If the script was indeed complete, real movie information sites would be all over it.

Good point. They wouldn't.

The script hasn't been made, and they haven't approached anyone yet. I'm almost positive of that.

Oooh ho ho ho!

Someone on the Yahoo groups 18 club thing already suggested I "send them a video." I don't think that I really uh qualify for such a job just because I have her costume...anyone could really look like her. But damn, the idea of actually doing such a thing is scary and almost nearly unimagineable...and IF something that crazy ever did happen to me, I'd probably be shamed the rest of my life for being in a reaaaaly shitty movie, with bad dialogue, and TERRIBLE special effects. lol...I can picture all the bad effects and costume pieces already!

However, a totally sweet homemade movie would be TOTALLY sweet or awesome!!!@! I think we should never talk about REAL live action movie news, and only continue blathering on about a fan movie. Meri, VegettoEX, you guys have like...experience with video stuff and editing. We'll all show up at Otakon and make a fan-parody classic or some shit like that. COME ON!

That would be so awesome to do! We should make a parody of the real live action movie, if they ever get around to actually making it that is. :?

But I most certainly agree with you #18 about a serious movie ending up looking terrible. At least with a parody, it's fine if it looks like a two-bit job. That just makes it funnier. Hey how about EX? If you do it, we'll let you be Vegetto. 8)

I just had the greatest idea.

Somerandomguy is like, dead or something, right? We can just use his movie. It's the most ultimatest DBZ movie ever.

I can see it now... a full hour of Trunks and Goten writing their names off of each others names in the snow. Heeheehee!

I think the movie might be well Corny. A live action DBZ I saw some of the one form Japan. It was funny. But you know darn well they are going to mess it up and it will look corny. It is going to be like Mortal Kombat or even Super Mario Bros. *shutters* :x But if it is cool then hey good job on it.

Mortal Kombat was one of the best, if not the best video game based live action movies. And it made about over $70 million dollars.

Is that that badly done animated version you're talking about that I think all the copies in the world have been burned, because it was that bad?

No, live action "blockbusters". Ick. First one was pretty good at the time, but it got over-hyped and by the time it came out on VHS I already hated it. Annihilation (the sequel which made NO sense) on the other hand, was spoon-fed crap.

Yeah, Annihilation did suck big time. The worse part is how the first one ended, it had you waiting for it too. Even though it was close to the games, it sucked. It was funny though when Motaro ripped off one of Jax's metal arms and hit him in the head with it.

Oh of course! That was out for about ten seconds wasn't it? :P I actually have this aversion to Mortal Kombat since everytime I go to any martial arts demonstrations, the people performing are always using that bloody "Mortal Kombat" theme from the movie in the background! Come on guys, if you get into a tussle on the street, is theme music going to start magically playing in the air? I hate all that hyped-up, machismo crap that comes with some people in martial arts! :x

1 sleeper-hit-made word for you all: Bloodsport. Kumate!!! :D

If I were gay I'd question my sexuality after watching that movie. His body was perfect back then, but am I right ladies when I say that everything above the neck is crud fugley ugly? :x

Why? I'm sorry for my ignorance, but I haven't seen Bloodsport. Who's in it that you're talking about?

Van Dam's ONLY good movie. It's the one that broke him into popular movies.

Oh yes! Stupid me! I've never found Van Dam attractive in any way, face or body-wise. But then, I don't find guys with an I.Q. the equivalent of a cinder block worth my time really.

Who the hell would I play? People tell me that my personality's like Goku's, but I can do voices of the "bad" guys (Vegeta, Piccolo, Nappa, Frieza, Ginyu Force, etc.)... but yet, I don't look like any of those guys...

And Mortal Kombat is cool... but it doesn't live up to real martial arts. Just like DBZ...

Get me a piece of that Gollum technology and I'll be Oolong or Pu'er or something.

I'd be Bubbles or Popo if I used the Gollum FX.
