I found this page today while browsing, originally for pics of Norman from Big O.
http://www.dbzsc.com/?dbzsc=live_action
It seems to shed a little more light on things than the info on the official DBZ webpage, BUT, as we all know, this could all be fake. The dude lists sources at the bottom. The way info is presented makes it seem reliable, but...hm, well you just can't trust it.
Now the casting choices on this site are a bit more appealing than the stuff I've seen posted elsewhere. There's the obligatory Goldberg is Nappa deal, but everyone else is news to me. But a few things just don't settle well with me. Jessica Alba as Bulma? Eliza Dushku as ChiChi? Alba just doesn't seem...sassy enough to be Bulma, and Eliza Dushku is way too hot to be ChiChi. They should get that damn girl from She's All That or something! =half-joking= Still, my biggest question mark is why Orlando Bloom for Tien? It just doesn't seem right...like he's too light of build and too short or something.
I could talk about actors and resemblences all day long, I think. But the more I read about live action, the more I feel like it's going to take longer and longer to actually come out.

It's gotta be a joke, but it's in so much detail... I still think it's a joke, though. Sorry, I've got a cynical attidude towards these things.

Hm, I just noticed one of the sites he credits for his information as a DBZ Live Action Movie Forum...which seems to be full of young, crazy, tAlK lyK diS types. :/
Still...Orlando as Tien?

The site got it's info from nowhere, which leads me to believe that it's all false. Nobody has the rights to the movie and no actors on that list have EVER mentioned anything about being in a DB movie. (Although there are rumors that Goldberg said he'd say yes if he were to be approached since his kids are huge fans of the dub)
Since they are supposedly 4 movies being made simultaneously, the first of which is schedualed for early 2005, chances are an 00ber blockbuster à la LOTR film would be in the makings NOW (as in: all sets built, acting commencing).

What I like most is the part where it says Akira Toriyama was signed on as a consultant, but he kept doing the things HE wanted that FOX didn't, so they gave him a new contract which took away all the control he had.
Pffffft...

Actually, most of the stuff on that site I've heard before and as far as I know, it's all bull. I agree with Zacko that it shouldn't be paid much attention too.

I can 99% guarantee that the Goldberg thing is nothing but a rumor. I definitely would have heard about it in my wrestling news by now. (Kevin Nash will be in 'The Punisher'! Triple H will be in 'Blade 3!') Wrestlers have very busy schedules, and he hasn't had much offtime in the past year or so. I do know that Goldberg will be filming a movie called 'Santa's Slay' sometime soon. So, busy wrestling schedule (although he may quit after Wrestlemania XX), plus another movie... Highly unlikely, and completely unconfirmed.
Hooray, this time I mentioned wrestling in a relevant situation!

I am going to play Mr. Satan.
Mr Richard "Kyanka" Lowtax shall play Goku, and Fragmaster is Vegeta. It will be a Yaoi movie, and 90 minutes long.
Jesus fucking christ, if anyone is going to say anything official, then it is NOT GOING TO BE A FUCKING DBZ WEBSITE.
Sorry, but no.

Hey, while we're at it, why don't we just make a movie ourselves using us as the cast?! Sheesh, it can't be any worse than what Fox'll spit out!

Alright, Tablet is starting to scare me more than the rest of you bubble wrap fantasy people, large chined english snobs, and jello eating psychos put together.
In other news, I'll dye and grow my hair and be Yajirobe.

As long as I get to play Kame Sen'nin, I'm fine with everything.

I've been told I look like a teenaged Gohan, maybe I should audition?

I want to audition too!!! I could be ...um... Good God I could be Kibito if I had a mullet.
Or shave my head down the middle and go as Toteppo in a Saiyan flashback! Wheee!

I pity the poor man who ends up as Mr Popo, the lovable not-at-all-a-racist-stereotype-er, thing.

Uhm, actually, can I change my role? I want to be some magical all powerful being that Dai-Kaioshin looks up to.
I think I'd need a little bit more work than just with my hair to be Yajirobe, but if I make up someone, it just solves everyone's problems!

Oooh, I want to be someone too! Well, I'm just 5 ft., so I can shave my head and be Kuririn! Plus, since I'm already female, you won't have to worry about me not sounding close enough to Mayumi Tanaka, who's also female!

Or, I can still shave my head, paint myself green and be Dende! And No.18, you'll have to be well, #18! Since I've seen your cosplay photos and I know you look like her, so you can't weasel out of it!
