Yeah, it's like how, when Piccolo merged with God, the Dragon Balls turned to stone. Even though God technically didn't die, his life force wasn't there anymore. It'd been absorbed into Piccolo.

Yeah, I don't think that helps to make a strong theory. I really think its more than likely that the tree just goes through natural growth cycles and the Buu just happened to strike down almost all the Kaioshin during a lull, with either the fruit just not growing or only producing evil Shinjin.Hades wrote:I'm not sure. Perhaps it takes a majority of losses to lead to replacements being grown.

That particular version of the map is from DB Landmark, which only covers things up to the Freeza story arc. So they recycled the old version of the map from Daizenshuu 4 (which covered the entire manga), but removed everything mentioned after the Freeza arc. The hilarious thing is that you can actually see the Dai-Kaio's planet in the map, but they don't label it.Hades wrote:So where would the Kaioshin planet be in that map?
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

Now it makes sense to me, as I thought it was taken from Daizenshuu 4, what with people calling it "old", but I knew the D4 map had everything in it, as AT mentioned that in his interview, so I was very confused.Herms wrote:That particular version of the map is from DB Landmark, which only covers things up to the Freeza story arc.
