Agreed. They did nothing that was great.. If people like that better than some of the budokai tenkaichi fights.. I just don't know haha.
To me all they did in Z was spam ki attacks at each other. Well the later half of Z anyways.

I dunno, there were epic battles, but I can't compare them to other series.
Saint Seiya also have epic battles, more so they battle the Gods that people were worshiping a lot.
For me, most epic battles in series that I'm watching are in Gundam. It's full scale war changing the history of fictive world.
In Dragon Ball, they are stopping huge threats, but besides King Piccolo, kinda in secret and the life on the planet goes as usual (Only that Mr. Satan is the megahero in the end).
