I really don't mind the Australian rating bars... it's UK ones I don't like.

Also, I'm loving the design of this box, however it wouldn't surprise me if it was changed before the release.

I don't mind the Australian ratings either even though nearly all the products here just have the NZ sticker slapped on top. It's when they have a weird rating is what bugs me, like the Vegeta Saga UUE 1.7 volume and Fusion Reborn both had a 'G' rating (this one has a 'M' for the NZ sticker so that's even more weird when they're together).

This box looks pretty cool (except for the top), is it known how many BD cases (8 Slim Blu-rays?) it fits?

They don't sell the box-only do they?
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Well Madman previously made a "Dragon Ball Z Orange Brick" complete box set which compressed the Fat pack DVD cases into slimpack DVD cases, so I am guessing they will compress the sets into smaller BD or DVD cases. (Or Kai season sets thrown into a box...).

The aussie versions of Kai Blu-Ray have a reversible cover of sorts.. the front remains the same, but the back lists the episodes.

... With extra artwork on the episode listings, and the first few Madman Kai Blu-rays had a shiny front cover and back that was reversible into a non-shiny cover. Pretty cool.

The BBFC logos tend to look great when placed correctly (done appropriately most of the time) but the Australian rating logos are just so big.. Unnecessarily really big.

If there's one BBFC logo I dislike, it's this one:

It's just too big, although, it doesn't compare to the Australian ones' size.

No one has posted here in a while, but the date and price of the limited edition has been announced.
It is available for $189AU for pre-order from JB Hi-Fi Online, and according to EzyDvd, it will be released on the 24th of October 2012 (Enough time for Christmas shopping).

Here is the link to JB Hi-Fi Online.

I don't have it yet but I have seen the complete collection, the dvd collection is 2 fatpacks in the box. The first with parts 1,2,3 & 4. The second with parts 5,6,7 & 8. the blu-ray is 4 normal sized blu-ray's in the box each one with the same episodes as the season sets.
I dont know what the art on the blu-rays and dvd's in the box are.

Plan on picking this up sometime down the track. Curious to see if the first three parts were re-printed with the replacement score.

Since it's been a while I assume it's OK if I double post.

Looks nice. The DVD set contains two fat packs, so I assume they use the same cover art except that there is an image on either side of them.

Well, Madman has a sale like every three years... guess I'll wait for that.

I kind of doubt JB Hi-Fi will be putting it on special... I don't think I've ever seen Dragon Ball on special there, aside from store-wide sales.

After a long layby I have bought this set. The Music Score used is a mix of Yamamoto & Kikuchi what I mean is that Part 1 is the AUS Yamamoto Blu-ray while Part 2 is the US Season 1 Disc's 3 & 4 Kikuchi. Next Part 3 is AUS Yamamoto Blu-Ray while part 4-8 are the AUS Kikuchi Blu-ray as that is what we got in AUS. The packaging is week, the center part that holds the discs from falling out breaks easily. But the artwork is nice with lists of all the episodes on the inside of the case. With Parts 1 & 3 Yamamoto & Parts 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8 Kikuchi the only insert songs cut where Saiyan Blood & News of the Cell Games. The replacement score is the same as the US Season sets for those parts said earlier. It's a good buy just for the Limited Edition Value.
