It's not very Limited Edition-ish if it has the Replacement Score. :-/
Guess the Parts 5-8 will eventually also go OoP [Out of Print?] but I'm getting rid of them anyway.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

... Damn Madman.
This is pretty awesome! But I can tell this will be at a price point around $200-250 to save the $320 for all 8 parts.
Considering it is only around $20 to import each part from the US (Region 1,4) which would bring the total of those to $160...
My honest opinion is to skip the "limited edition Set", but if some pictures of it show up, I may change my mind.
I am also happy with the Japanese box set styled box. (And also that Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is getting a complete collection set as well.)
Thanks for bringing this up DragonBoxZTheMovies, as I don't go on to the MadBoards often anymore and probably wouldn't have seen it otherwise.
@dbboxkaifan
I am guessing they meaning Limited Edition as, this will probably won't be in Print for a while (In this form of complete set anyway, and they might sell season sets soon hopefully.)
I am guessing that 1-8 will go out of print soon in favour of a different way of getting the parts (Season Sets maybe?) as a couple weeks ago Dragon Ball Z Kai Collection (Part) 1 for around 15-25 Australian Dollars, but that has seemed to have finished as the Collection (Part) is now 40 AUD.

Isn't it a little early for a complete series collection? The season sets aren't even done yet. Granted, I guess no one would buy this after already getting the seasons sets. And the parts don't stay on shelves long from what I've seen, so maybe this isn't such a bad decision after all. I'll skip it, I already own part of the series and doubling up is not my thing.

^ The US DBZ Kai Season Three already has a date and cover, all it remains is for FUNimation to announce Season Four and the series will pretty much be complete.
From Saiyan-Frieza is where Kai ends for me, it leaves a gap for imagination as to what happened to the characters, and Part Four was the last with Yamamoto's score.
Kai was a big disappointment for me, but at least Saiyan-Frieza were fantastic (PQ + AQ + VAQ), as for Cell Games the PQ + VAQ saddened me while watching it. It's truly unfortunate how Toei Animation didn't handle Kai appropriately.
PQ - Picture Quality
AQ - Audio Quality
VAQ - Voice Acting Quality

This is most likely a Madman Entertainment Australia/New Zealand exclusive like the Dragon Ball Complete Collection as we haven't seen a FUNimation version of an announcement as of yet.

Australia's DBZ Kai Complete Set - $196.97
Australia's DBZ Kai Parts each around $44 - $352
US 8 Parts all each around $20 - $160
US 4 Seasons all around $28 - $112
Seems like Australia's cheaper way of getting the series unless imported.
Anyway, the series technically isn't complete because they never reached Majin Buu's saga which is in the manga.

Technically, even if they did, they also skipped the first 16 volumes.

This is going to be one of those limited time collections priced for a lot but then when the owner wants to re-sell it he/she won't get much for it.
It's prolly just a repack and all (replacement version).

Ezy DVD's prices are pretty lousy. Wouldn't be surprised if JB ended up having it for like $170-180... then you just wait until one of their frequent 20% off sales and you should end up paying less than $150. That's not too bad a deal for 98 episodes.

I would get this... but the ugly huge-ass australian age rating on these releases always put me off. I'll think about importing if it has a reversible cover... Damn that's some shallow reasoning!

I somewhat agree with you. Sometimes I go to the store, I look at the new movies and games... and the new colour coded classification that is used in Australia now, looks like a child's toy label...
