I think they need to keep the dialogue of the first ending, but keep the kinto-un scene. That felt way more conclusive and meaningful since it showed Goku passing the torch. Vegeta's first line in the original ending should stay.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

For DB(Z)K? I think that would be horrible. The only way I can see it being OK is if they did a movies based on the TV series like they did with The Path to Power. A Vegeta arc movie, Freeza arc movie... If they wanna re-do the ending to reflect the new manga ending there, that would be OK with me. But I would totally hate if they did it for DB(Z)K.

I hope that they will include the new ending in Dragon Ball Kai.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

They should keep it all up to Vegeta's "I will show you defeat" bit, and then omit only that.

as a Vegeta Fangirl, I always hated that little bit because it undoes Vegeta's character development.

I hate to ask this but could someone post an image or two of the alternate ending? I've seen it before..but I haven't looked at it in a long time. or could someone PM pictures of it?
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

My only gripe would be that it'd use new animation and they wouldn't make a decent job of doing it seamlessly, it'd go from the old animation in one scene to the new one in the next. Unless they did it properly and made it fit in with the animation of the series I think they should leave it.

I went to Google images and found pictures of the kanzenban ending that was linked on the old site name(Daizenshuu EX) so I assume it's okay to post it :?

I love that it looks like Goku just drops poor Uub on the cloud. He doesn't even place him on it or anything, he just drops him. Sure, the kid seems innocent enough, but for all you know you're about to give him a heart attack when he falls through the thing because kinto'un won't accept him. Classic Goku.

It doesn't actually. He respects Goku but that doesn't mean he's not going to try anymore.

I figured if they make, it would replace the normal ending animation.
