Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
1. Vegeta vs. Piccolo
The two badasses of the series fighting it out. They had somewhat similar personalities earlier on (Vegeta's still not nice though).
2. Freeza vs. Kibitoshin
To see Freeza torture Kibitoshin for claiming..."Each Kaioshin is strong to kill Freeza with one blow"... bullshit!!
3. Chi-Chi vs. Videl
To have Videl get one-shotted so people can get the ridiculous idea of Videl being able to beat Chi-Chi or any Pre-Z era warrior out their heads.
Honorable Mention:
Krillin vs. Tien

1. SSJ4 Gogeta vs. Beerus
The OG red haired saiyan vs. The God of Destruction would be a great fight.
SSJ4 Goku vs. SSJ4 Vegeta
Goku and Vegeta, full power, one epic battle.
2. SP Cell vs. SSJ2 Gohan (rematch)
Not another beam clash, an actual fight like Goku vs. Cell.

Unless Gohan drops his guard and he becomes much weaker as result, Gohan would still kick Cell's ass. There was still quite a gap in power between the two of them at this stage.SSJ God Gogeta wrote:2. SP Cell vs. SSJ2 Gohan (rematch)

You don't want this. Cause Broly would win. Not cause of battle power logic, but because Broly is popular. If they ever reintroduced him, I doubt he'd be fodder. I think only Shin Budokai 2 and the Battle of Z opening are the only times he wasn't top dog. If Broly came back for a fight, you'd probably be upset as he'd be animated as a super threat, like how Heroes treats him.Dbzfan94 wrote:Broly vs ANYBODY Fat Buu level or higher purely for the fact Broly will get one-shotted and shut all the Broly fanboys mouth's.
My picks though
1. Goku vs Gohan. Yeah I really wanna see this.
2. Piccolo vs Gohan. A good fight between them, or Piccolo smacking some sense into Gohan.
3. Whis vs Beerus. I want someone to smack the shit out of Beerus, and I want to see Whis fight. It's a win win.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
I'd like to see Piccolo tell Gohan to get his shit together. I know Piccolo told Goku in the Cell Games that Gohan doesn't like to fight, but after the BoG and F arc I hope Piccolo tells Gohan he needs to get back on track, with what? 3 invasions in the past years and Gohan still doesn't think it's necessary to just train one hour every day or something? He doesn't like killing, or senseless violence, but he isn't opposed to fighting if it involves protecting others. With how weak Gohan got after F, wouldn't be surprised if he got beaten easily by Piccolo a few months after that arc, either.

Fact of the matter is, Broly has never once lost a 1 on 1 fight. I mean, it's never even close. Add the fact that he's a mutant SSJ, giving him access to a plethora of transformations and off the chart power-ups. If he ever fights a Buu saga villain, or even Beerus, unless Toriyama directs, expect him to overpower his foes. Only a protagonist with a plot device can beat him.
I'm hopeful that Super will retcon F Gohan. In the opening, he's shown going mystic against Frieza's soldiers... so maybe. *crosses fingers*Doctor. wrote:I'd like to see Piccolo tell Gohan to get his shit together. Which annoys me even more. He's overhyped to the point of it being shotted. That's why I pray he's never ever put in any more official material (excluding games)fadeddreams5 wrote:I was going to type this. lol.dbzfan7 wrote:You don't want this. Cause Broly would win. Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
Until Broly actually undergoes a complete makeover (appearance and personality), all I'll perceive him as is a bland brute who merely muscles his way through victory after another with absolutely no depth in his agenda. At least Buu's brainless portrayal and destructive tendencies complement who he is as a character.
A dull flavorless persona coupled with limited vocabulary.. Not exactly the combination I would expect from the one known as the Legendary Super Saiyan. Then again, this is just my personal perception. No hate to you Broly fans!

Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
To be fair, I find his LSSJ personality great (1st movie). It's sadistic and intimidating. He's not completely mindless like Kid Buu or Janemba. I mean, he blew up the planet of those innocent aliens in their face. He didn't do this because it was funny, it was his job, or because all he knows is to destroy. He wanted to see their sorrow. He gets off on the pain of others. LSSJ Broly is worse than Frieza because, besides that twisted side of his, he cannot be tamed either; once he enters that mode, everyone is doomed. And unlike Kid Buu, he will savor every single second of his destruction. Oh, and add the fact that he's a saiyan, so a stronger opponent only gets him more excited to kill--again, unlike Frieza.supercat wrote:Until Broly actually undergoes a complete makeover (appearance and personality), all I'll perceive him as is a bland brute who merely muscles his way through victory after another with absolutely no depth in his agenda. The problem with his personality comes from his base form. If they could find a way to separate his natural state from his mutated/LSSJ form without making him similar to Bruce Banner and the Hulk, he could be an awesome character. As for backstory, I say he should be the original SSJ, and possibly even a king or prince of an ancient saiyan era, given his clothing.

Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
Actually, I kind of like that idea. To expand this idea, let's just say that the encounter with Broly takes place during a time before King Vegeta became king. Perhaps we follow the story of his great-grandpa (also called Vegeta) who was just a peasant during this time. Broly is the king and King Vegeta is trying to overthrow him to take his crown for himself. Maybe his friends warn him that King Broly packs a great power, some call him a "super saiyan."fadeddreams5 wrote:As for backstory, I say he should be the original SSJ, and possibly even a king or prince of an ancient saiyan era, given his clothing.
When Vegeta goes fight to Broly, Broly looks at the moon, and transforms into a Golden Ape (aka the Original Super Saiyan shown in the anime). They fight and whatever (I'm not writing a full-out fight for this concept). During the fight, Vegeta is able to cut off Broly's tail, but Broly still maintains his SSJ transformation (now he's the LSSJ) and starts to trash him. Through deus ex machina (because I'm too lazy to find a real reason for Vegeta to win

Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
I was thinking of a relation with the Vegetas too.
In my cwazy story, I see him ruling (or on the verge of ruling) during an era at least 1000 years before the modern saiyan one. The idea is having Vegeta's ancestors actually be peasants or advisers who eventually overthrow the real saiyan royalty and directly lead to the destruction of their original planet by exploiting the powers of Broly--so think Gohan's Cell Games scenario with the Cell Jrs, only with the opposite end results. This is ultimately the start of the bloodthirsty and evil saiyan era, as most of the good saiyans die in the chaos caused by their own prince or king, and the rest are corrupted by new leadership. He, himself, is thought dead after being unable to control his powers, as is the tale told by Vegeta in the dub.

Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
Mister Satan versus Tao Pai Pai: I think it would be pretty interesting to see Mister Satan tackle a foe who is somewhat within a reasonable range of his power. I bet there is a lot of room for comedy and seriousness in such a fight.
Gokuu versus Shuura: the two did face down before but this time a fight with a nice storyboard and key animators would be a lot of fun. Shuura and his forces are a great opening to simply have new characters who are strong for the sake of the plot simply due to how little exploration there has been on the Makai.
Tullece versus Vegeta: Tullece and his posse are one of the most interestingly designed characters from the movies with unexplored but very interesting backstories. Having the 'evil Gokuu' character who also survived Planet Vegeta's destruction and the reign of Freeza's empire certainly seems like an interesting personalities match-up.

Vegeta and Piccolo almost got into it after Trunks left, but Goku stopped them.
Which, given how anime filler has added weird shit like Vegeta fighting Gohan after they leave Namek, is a missed opportunity.

Re: What are your top 3 dream fights?
1. Buu (whichever form is the closest match) vs. Janemba, for all the crazy abilities being thrown around by both of 'em; it'd be insanely fun.
2. Cell vs. Broly. Either an interesting match-up of skill and technique vs. power, or just Cell amusingly stomping Broly (and as somebody mentioned above, shutting up the fanboys). EDIT: And 1. I don't dislike Broly too much, he just gets way overhyped, and 2. yes, I know if he was brought back he'd be made even more super-powerful, but this is a hypothetical match-up in my head based on what we know of the characters thus far, not how it would be conceived as a piece of Dragon Ball media.
3. Pan vs. Uub...I'm envisioning kind of a post-EoZ scenario, with both of them adults and (as implied by EoZ) the Earth's new defenders, having sparring or tournament matches. Those two always felt like the 'next step' into the future to me.
