Champa Arc - Will it have a main villain ?

I agree with the latter, but i think Hit will be the link between the tournament and those strong opponents from U6. Maybe he won't be defeated here yet...

I certainly think he'll be an antagonist in his own arc but I don't necessarily seem him being any sort of mastermind in this arc. What the hell could Hit possibly even do to come into genuine conflict with Gokuu and the others at this point in the Dragon Ball franchise?

I somehow still believe that Dragon God Zarama is going to play a main villain role.

I'm actually beginning to think Hit will be a more neutral character. I can't be sure, but he's not striking me as a main villain type anymore. Maybe a secondary antagonist at best. I could be completely wrong though.

For me, Hit still seems like he's going to be a villain. However, I'm growing more convinced Vados might be too

what if whis proves to be final villain - him training goku & vegeta to get them close to beerus is without motive? Maybe he can't kill beerus himself due to some reason, so he is going to use vegeta for that.
Seeing how vegeta is costing U7 team members after members , the tension between him & beerus will rise.

The same way you're saying it's possible that tension between Whis and Beerus might rise is the exact reason why I'm growing more convinced Vados is bad. The way she's been acting and talking to Champa just doesn't feel right.

For Whis, maybe so but we don't know enough about Vados to be sure. I mean if you go back and watch every episode so far where she has been in, there have been little instances that had me go ???. At one point Whis looks at her with a suspicious face, her willingness to destroy a planet, her behaviour to Champa (and others). Idk, I've been looking into this more now and I really am getting a bad vibe from her.

Perhaps there is a being who is an overseer of all the 12 Gods of Destruction's, and something occurs that makes him turn evil. Then he would be on a rampage to destroy all of the 12 Universes, and its up to Goku and the gang to stop him. This being would be much more powerful than Whis or Vados.

At first that's what I thought was going to be the case. I now however after weeks of speculation can adamantly say that I'm convinced Vados is going to play a role in being on the villain side. Ill be very surprised now if she doesn't. Just watch how she's been acting since she's been revealed. Her behaviour towards Champa, her aggressiveness, etc. Also with today's episode, she may be bringing Hit involved too.

I like Vados. Would be thrilling if Vados is evil. Which is entirely possible.

I would love to see some Saint Seiya like conspiracy. For example, Vados hiring Hit to take down the God of Destruction because of some long contained grudge (like destroying their home planet),

That's actually similar to my current guess. Either she is hiring Hit to take out Beerus (or Whis) or to take out her own Haikishin, Champa. I'm currently leaning towards Champa, just based on how she acts towards him. While this seems kind of farfetched, in any case...I'm pretty adamant that Vados is going to play a role in being a villain.

Why would she hire Hit ? She can do it herself way easier.
