Will Goku rebel against Heaven?

It will be nice that in a plot twist, when zeno is about to wipe out the universes, Vegeta caught him off guard and kill in the same manner that he killed Guldo of the Gynyu forces.

A guy like Goku raging against the Heavens? Nah. I don't see that ever happening. Perhaps in a universe where Dragon Ball gets a Seinen anime/manga spin-off it could.

Zeno will give them a reason to. Annihilate universes is a good explanation as to why Goku and others would oppose gods. They'd cease to exist anyway, so it'd be worth a shot to fight Zeno, in a kind of suicide mission.

But I know in the end what probably will happen is that Goku would convince Zeno in a friendly and peacefull way not to eliminate any universe. I think it's boring but it's probably the route Super will take. Anyway I hope this tournament brings interesting fighters.

I could see him fighting Gods, yeah. Seems kind of Toriyama-esque to me in terms of the concept, having someone fight and maybe even defeat God.

I think it's basically a given Goku and Vegeta will fight the Gods sooner or later, with a better motivation than just enjoying a fight. I can totally picture Goku having to oppose the Gods (for example Daishinkan) but at the same time being excited for such a battle. I trust Mr Toriyama, by how much this tournament is being hyped in-universe I expect nothing but greatness
