What is the DBS canon? Anime, manga or both?

I never liked Minus since Goku's origins become too similar to Superman. PLUS, the stupid statement about Frieza knowing what a Super Saiyan God is.

How in the fuck would he know that while Vegeta had never heard of it?

I haven't seen the Bardock Movie, so I may give it a go and try, but I may just choose neither, hahaha.

Especially since on Namek Frieza had trouble coming to grips with the fact a Super Saiyan was real.


Also Bardok Special is awesome.

The anime is going to reach a wider audience and is de facto the main version of the story, thus it might as well be considered "more canon" than the manga.
