Ok but even if it is acknowledged, they still shouldn't have made him regressing so much in the first place. It Remember that in the coming arc he still will be referenced as "the most powerful earthling". How would it be believable if his power fall so much ?dbs fanboy wrote:I seriously think that it was intentional to make Krillin weak to this point, i mean, just like 18 said:"I can't believe you were harmed by a mere bullet", obviously in universe it's being acknowledged the fact that this sort of thing shouldn't have ever happened.Kepiaschkz wrote:1- Krilin was supposed to be vastly superior to Raditz right in the Namek Saga. 2-Goku at the very begining of Dragon Ball before even being trained by Roshi took a bullet from Bulma right in the head. The only thing that did to him was to fall in the back and suffer some temporary pain. It did to him no more damage than a paintball bullet would do to a random human.
Are we supposed to believe that Krilin became weaker than 12 years old Goku? With a power level inferior to 10?
Maybe inferior to Mr Satan too?
No, no and no! That scene was just a Toeï error due to not sufficiently paying attention to small details and not having a sufficiently large vision of the DB universe.
We better forget it. It's probably not in Toriyama's notes anywaysince it is a filler episode.

*ahem*
"FILLER MAGIC"
Filler Magic- When logic gets thrown out the window so as to create the illusion of a conflict. By the end of "Filler Magic" the character has not improved in power, but may have emotional development.
So, my answer to you is Filler Magic.

This is just Toei doing nonsenses again, nothing new. Better forget this terrible scene.

Essentially this. It's really the only truly bad thing in an otherwise great episode.Acetona wrote:This is just Toei doing nonsenses again, nothing new. Better forget this terrible scene.
