None of which changes the fact that Shen Long wouldn't be able to bring him back. That's the most crucial point by far. If he had died, he would have remained dead.

It was filler so don't get too mad about it. This issue had been dealt with before numerous times. As for the rest of the episode, even though it was filler I enjoyed it. Other than the fan confusion over Goku "returning from the dead" it all makes sense. Really Goku was just knocked out for awhile.... and managed to not drown... c'mon it doesen't have to make sense... maybe he wasen't in the water the whole time). Goku needed to take a breather for a bit...before the planet blew up in mere "minutes". :roll: Ok that doesen't make sense.
