They've actually already been doing this; Broly's Legendary form wasn't in Toriyama's script for example.JulieYBM wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 10:37 pmIf a script wasn't finished, the director would either add their own flourish or bring on another writer. It would probably be for the best if they did that, anyway.

Yeah, exactly. Heck, we know from interviews that while Hosoda Mamoru was not credited as a writer, he completely rewrote the script for his One Piece movie. For Ootsuka Takashi's One Piece film, he was credited alongside Tomioka Atsuhiro. The Dark Knight wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 10:46 pmThey've actually already been doing this; Broly's Legendary form wasn't in Toriyama's script for example.JulieYBM wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 10:37 pmIf a script wasn't finished, the director would either add their own flourish or bring on another writer. Because it's Toriyama, I have a suspension that they won't let another writer be credited, but I absolutely wouldn't be surprised if the finished film had numerous deviances from the script.

That would be crap and a waste. Since all the main villains from Dragon Ball Z returned, may I suggest a movie to bring back Piccolo Daimaoh instead? He's the only one who hasn't seen a comeback yet. Certainly that would be peak, especially if he comes back, trains for two months and gets Orange, a flashy fight ensues, Goku defeats him the same way as before, the credits roll. All packed with gorgeous animation and a very lengthy battle, of course!WittyUsername wrote: Thu Dec 04, 2025 8:51 pmSpoilers: It’ll be a multiverse movie where the Super, GT, and Daima timelines meet.
Either that or a tournament, don't know if an-hour-and-a-half movie can properly depict a tournament, but if it does, I'm sure that would put a lot of big and beautiful butts on seats as well. Again, packed with gorgeous animation and very lengthy battles all throughout its runtime.
