The coolness factor could be it. I mean, swining a nice looking sword with a sheath that's strapped to him with a seat belt is kinda neat. I wish I had one. TOEI likes to mess with people, eh? Boy did I open a can of worms asking about the sword. I mean they do like very similar except for the sheath strap I think. I can't remember if Tapion even unsheaths his sword.
