Dear God, that's the stupidest internet meme I've seen in a long time.
Welcome to the internets.

It's this one and Charlie the Unicorn that I have a hard time understanding the humor in them.

Memes aren't funny. They're weird as hell, so people see them, look at their friends and say "WTF?", and then it becomes an inside joke. And since it's in a public place on the internet, itbecomes a really really big inside joke, so it becomes popular for a time.

SOME are funny. The infamous 9000, for example; I did laugh at that.

To me the video wasn't really funny after the first few times I'd saw it, but the original useage of over 9000 where it was used as an image reply to something was funny, but then it got way, way too overused...

Thats what happens. I'm somewhat thankful I started liking Numa Numa after it kept getting overplayed.

Though I suppose it's saying something that over nine thousand stuck whereas additional (pylons) things in the same category didn't. (Then again, the balls are inert...).

Though this thread has gotten... umm... into generic mme discussion. *wonders if that implies an immonent lock* *wonders how to spell immonent*
