Peanut Butter Jelly Time

Post by Rory » Tue Aug 14, 2007 11:21 am

" In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 for the PlayStation 2 and Wii, switching from the character Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks to any other character while in battle often makes him say "Peanut Butter Jelly Time!" before flying offscreen. " (Taken from Wikipedia)

Is this true? I've gotten rid of the game recently, and was wondering if someone could just do a quick check for me. A clip would be MOST appricated.

Please, do it, for the lulz.

Yes, it's true. Sorry I can't provide a clip.

Also, Zangya says, "Don't ya wish your girlfriend was tough like me? Don't ya?"
When she beats Kuririn.

Have you heard her say it in the game?
It's pretty funny. Even though I hate that song.

I think it's Trunks with sword, but when you switch one of the out, he says..."Back to the future!"

Grandpa Gohan says "The buffet is closing!" when he dips. Hahaha, silly old people and buffets. When will they ever learn.

My favorite is when 18 fights Zangya, in the opening dialog Zangya says: "Your husband is pretty cute" and 18 replies "Skank" not exactly funny, but to be DBZ it's pretty good. :D

Probably an audio glitch. There's plenty of them in BT2. Most surround SSJ2 Goku but thre's others as well.

Hmm, I'd be interested in a maybe-not-complete list of said glitches. Though... they could probably be found by a simple websearch, couldn't they?

That one goes back a long time, to at least 2002, I think. Maybe older. That's like half a century in internet time.
