I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

I just plain don't like FUNi voices that aren't androids.
In the old dub that was used on the VHS for the first 13 eps of DB in the states, though, I freaking loved Krillian's voice. It was unbeliveably hysterical.
Kunzait, I just thought that I should tell you that you're Win. S'all there is to it.

Kid Kuririn needs to be seriously injured so that he can never speak again, I loathe him so.Kunzait_83 wrote:So I take it I'm not the only one who absolutely cannot fucking stand Kid Goku and Kid Kuririn's English voices?Velasa wrote:For me it all depends if there's a Japanese language option in the English one. I'm going to get the Japanese version because, well, it comes out earlier and I know Japanese. Speaking of which, there's a whole bunch of new stuff about Goku's moves over at the official website for this game that I should probably translate. But right now I'm feeling too lazy.

OK, here's a translation of the new pages on Goku's moves. I more or less just summarized what the page said, added in some information from the screenshots that clarify what some of the actions are, and put in a few of my own random thoughts.
This page has Goku's martial arts moves, that is, the moves he uses barehanded.
Stance
In order to get Goku to do all his different special moves, you first have to put him into stance mode (the word used is kamae, the word for a martial arts stance or pose). To do this, you touch Goku with the stylus. It appears that Goku will glow red while in stance mode.
Charge
Once Goku's in stance mode, slide the stylus away from him to make him charge in that direction.
Send Flying (that's the best I can figure out for this one)
Once in stance mode, rapidly touch someplace near to Goku with the stylus. He'll do what appears to be a close-range shoving attack, that I'd assume sends whoever's hit with it flying off into the distance. You can only perform this after practicing.
Spin
When in stance mode, slide the stylus around Goku like you're making a big circle. He'll spin around rapidly like a human tornado, sort of like what he does against Namu. You can only perform this after practicing.
Kamehameha
Quickly tap Goku twice with the stylus, then touch the “Ka-Me-Ha-Me” symbols that appear around him one after the other. Once you do that, “Ha” will appear, and you'll fire a Kamehameha when you tap it. You can only perform this after practicing. Incidentally, I so totally predicted how you'd perform the Kamehameha in this game.
This page has the moves you do with the Nyoibo. Some of these moves have identical directions as his martial arts moves, so it seems you can't use both sets of moves at the same time.
Extend
From stance mode, slide the stylus away from him to make the Nyoibo extend out in that direction.
Strike
From stance mode, rapidly tap the place you want Goku to strike. You can use this to smash objects blocking your way. This move can only be performed after practice.
Overhead Spin
From stance mode, slide the stylus around Goku to make a circle. He'll spin the Nyoibo around over his head to create a tornado. Another move you need to practice before you're able to perform it.
Frontal Spin
From stance mode, tap someplace far away from Goku. It's the same as above, only in front of him to attack more distant enemies. Another move obtained through practice.
